Misty, better known as The Sea Witch, is a supporting antagonist in the 2011 Disney Junior Peter Pan spinoff series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. She is an evil sea witch and the Pirate Princess' archenemy.
She was voiced by Carol Kane.
Biography[]
The Sea Witch grew up with the Pirate Princess. She would cast spells as pranks in order to make the Princess laugh so she could befriend her. However, the Princess thought the Witch was being mean and bullying her. As an adult witch, the Sea Witch swore vengeance on the Princess and vowed to turn her into a gold statue forever as payback for the Princess for not being her friend as a child. While the Princess was voyaging, the Witch cursed her to be a gold statue. Jake, Izzy, Cubby, and Skully found the Princess and saved her.
The Sea Witch, finding out on the Princess's rescue, vowed again to turn her into gold forever. The Witch teleported into the Princess's palace and is fooled by Izzy who disguised herself as the Pirate Princess. Just then Captain Hook, also disguised as the Princess breaks into the palace in an attempt to steal from the Princess. Thinking he is the Princess, the Witch accidentally turns him into gold. After a stand-off, the Princess used her rainbow wand to turn the Witch into a good witch named Misty the Wonderful Witch who then befriends Jake and his friends.
While visiting Misty, the Shadow Wand is accidentally activated by Misty which turns her back into the Sea Witch who once again vows to turn the Pirate Princess into gold. The Witch once again breaks into the Princess's palace but was foiled by Jake's ship Bucky. The Sea Witch teams up with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee to help her turn the Princess into gold. The Witch prepares to use her Shadow Wand on the Princess and Jake and his crew but Izzy quickly uses her pixie dust to cause her to drop her wand, shattering it. The Witch explains that she wants to turn the Princess to gold because she would not befriend her when they were children and the spells she cast on her were mere jokes meant to get her attention and make her laugh. The Pirate Princess then forgives the Sea Witch and the Witch turns back into Misty the Wonderful Witch, permanently. The Sea Witch appears throughput the rest of the show as Misty from then on.
