Biography[]
The shadowy figures first make their appearance in the first episode, known as "Escape to Beer Mountain: A Rope of Sand". The main Shadowy Figure appeared individually and in person. He told Scudworth that he and the other board members had a hunch that Scudworth was an insane scientist. He told Scudworth that if he did not write a report about what it was like to be a teen at the school, he would kill him. He reappears at the end of the episode to request his report. When Scudworth revealed that he didn't have one, the Shadowy Figure told Mr. B to prepare Scudworth for his execution. Scudworth broke down and cried, describing the torment he experienced while trying to gather the information. When he opened his eyes, the figure was gone. They assumed that he had left because he considered Scudworth's rantings to have been the report.
The figures reappear, this time all of them, in the second episode. They called over video camera to address how they were worried that Scudworth was conspiring to use the clones for his own evil plan. After they pointed out the model for a clone theme park behind them, he points out their shoes. The main shadowy figure tells him that they are shoes sponsored by Puma. The members were holding cuffs and weapons, all except for the main member, who walked in last. Scudworth pleaded, trying to tell them that the clones were not ready. John Stamos, who appeared to the prom prior, intervened and told them that they had to hold the traditional prom kind conga-line. The main board member agrees and leaves to get punch. John later reveals that he would lock himself, the board members, and the clones in the freezer and freeze them so that Scudworth could live.
