The Shifters are the major antagonists of The Rope Hero Series. Being the unseen major antagonists in Rope Hero: Vice Town and being the main antagonists of Rope Hero: Mafia City Wars. They are an terrorist organization who were spreading mass corruption across the world.

As the years went on they have recruited a good amount of leaders. Their names being Joe The Cowboy, Grigory, Carmela, Yin, Don Moretti and their own respective gangs.

Prologue:[]
The Rope Hero seen that a group of thugs were controlling around his statue and took them out. Which made Joe The Cowboy come out and fight The Rope Hero along with his last set of minions. Soon after The Rope Hero defeated Joe, Joe threw a smoke bomb and escaped without a trace.
Rope Hero: Mafia City Wars Balance Issues/Main Quests:[]
Tipson told The Rope Hero about a group of time travelling terrorists named The Shifters who have a massive impact on the world and trying to destroy it,The Rope Hero goes on a bunch of missions and finally confronted Grigory's men and then Grigory himself. Several minutes after Grigory's defeat, Rope Hero got a call from the Police to arrest Don Moretti. But it turns out The arrest was fake and The Rope Hero attacked the assailants and then escaped them. The Rope Hero was called by a Shifter,The Shifter told The Rope Hero to go to Don Moretti's Casino and talk to him and that this is not a request,The Rope Hero then went to Moretti's HQ and told him to what he wanted then Moretti explained how the
laws are used to limit people and how it's the nature of human power. The Rope Hero had enough of Moretti and decided to fight him. He first took out the remaining Shifters and lastly Don Moretti after some time The Rope Hero defeated Don Moretti.

Then Don Moretti threw a smoke grenade and escaped without a trace. Ending the mainline missions.
The Clash With The District Zones:[]
The Rope went onto confront each district zones and their bosses. The Ghetto,The Business District Zone,The Luxury District Zone,The Moretti Family,The Chinese District Zone,The Japanese District Zone and lastly The Spies. After the battles were over The Rope Hero had successfully managed to defeat The Shifters for once and for all.
Personality[]
The Shifters were very power hungry always wanting more and more. They also were very ruthless and heartless murdering anyone they see without questioning.
Appearance[]
Most of the regular members either wore a yellow-black jacket with the front exposing their chests,a yellow and black Armor like suit or they had a yellow and black mercenary Armor with a cat mask covering their faces,some of them were yellow and black clothes with four drones behind them and flying on a hoverboard with a blue screen in front of them.
Trivia[]
- Some of the members have a body structure and face similar to Sundowner from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and some of the others memeber looking somewhat similiar to Jetstream Sam from the same game.
- The text on the car door reads "戦争反対!" which translates to "Anti-War!" Or No To War in English. This was translated by Chat GPT and the English meaning is quite ironic since The Shifters are known for starting Wars.
- The text on the car door is "抗议战争!" which translates to "Protest War!" in English. It is another way of expressing opposition to war. Also translated by Chat GPT it's English meaning is quite contradictory to The Shifters' true intentions.
