The Silverfish Orchestra are the secondary antagonists of the AvM Shorts Season 4 episode "Note Block Concert". They were called on by their leader to take over the titular concert run by Green, while humiliating him on stage and trying to crush him to death with a Silverfish Statue.
Appearance[]
The Orchestra are simple Minecraft silverfish: a small, silver bug with two big black eyes. The Conductor of the group wields a stick, as others play Minecraft items or note blocks as instruments.
History[]
In "Note Block Concert", The Silverfish steals Yellow's staff out of Green's hand when he had him captive with him, The Silverfish plays a song which summons a whole army of silverfish to help; They climb through the crowd, and from backstage, entering the Orchestra behind Green, overthrowing all the Villagers and the Stick Gang; A certain silverfish that was watching the concert joins its people in their plan. The Silverfish orders his army to swarm and kill Green as they start making a whole new orchestra.
They listen to their leader. Lunging at Green and covering him, head to toe, in silverfish as Red snaps a photo from backstage. The Stick Gang find the whole thing amazing and decide to help The Silverfish's out. They swap out all of their classical instruments for electric guitars and drums, causing the audience to bop their heads to the beat. As Green frees himself, he angrily orders his friends to stick to their original plan of classic music. The Silverfish start taking out the floor and replacing it with note blocks, to which Green tries to stop all of them, but fails. Once the Silverfish's and the Stick Gangs song ends, Green challenges the main Silverfish to a one-for-one dance-off turned battle, Green using the fact he can sing notes himself to battle the Note Block Staff, the Stick Gang and the Silverfish Orchestra making music to the theme of the battle, the music being a remix of Rush E.
During the dance-fight off, The Conductor orders a group of Silverfish to start dropping note blocks from the ceiling, once their Leader was disarmed, with the Conductor, wielding a stick, telling all of them when and where to drop them. Due to all the blocks dropping, The Silverfish manages to reclaim the staff and continues the battle until Green steals the staff back once more and launches a massive note-tornado. It causes the stage to start to be ripped a part and become ablaze, while The Stick Gang and Silverfish Orchestra start flying into the tornado, causing the Silverfish Orchestra to all die, except for the Conductor and his group of silverfish. During the song they were slowly building a Silverfish statue, and now they decided to cut the chains holding it up, and crush Green. They succeed, and Green topples out, barely alive, before being covered by more note blocks by the main Silverfish, who plays one last tune, and winks at the camera.
Personality[]
The Silverfish Orchestra are mischievous and petty little creatures that are seemingly extremely skilled and intelligent, playing Green for a fool throughout the whole episode. They are also fairly playful as throughout the whole thing, they keep playing music to what is happening on stage, the music which captures the feelings of Green, except for the last song, as they decide to play a remix of Rush E.
