The Slink is a reoccurring antagonist in the Disney Junior show "RoboGobo". She's a lizard thief who wants to be seen as a master thief, even though she's occasionally clumsy. She's voiced by Cynthia Erivo.
Appearance[]
The Slink is an anthropomorphic lizard lady who has purple swirls around her tail and head. She wears a red eye mask and a red and black jumpsuit, along with gauntlet like accessories.
Personality[]
The Slink prides herself on being a master thief thanks to her invisibility powers, but regularly fumbles and crashes into stuff. She prefers being called "The Slink" rather than just "Slink" and often says "darling" while referring to people.
Biography[]
The Slink first appears in "The Birthday Bandit" where she robs presents from Booster's friend's party and leaves the blue dog frustrated as he repeatedly fails to use his suit's super speed to catch her. Dax suggests getting creative to solve things, and Booster soon gets the idea to cover the Slink in flour to make her visible, and he finally manages to trap her, but she retreats to her vehicle and escapes.
In "A Sparkle in the Dark", the Slink kidnaps a firefly family to give herself a nightlight in her blimp hideout known as the Camo-Cloud because she's scared of the dark, believing monsters are in her closet. Dax and Allie use this to help save the fireflies and scare the Slink into her closet, and trap her in it.
Within "Jumpin' Jaguars", the Slink appears as Dax and Allie were chatting with a trio of jaguar cubs named Jazz, Jade, and Joe respectively, trying to show off her acrobatic skills, but she gets her vehicle, the Sneaky Slinker, and the female cubs trapped and runs into the jungle with the key. Dax and Allie end up getting stuck in a goo bomb made by the Slink, leaving Joe to retrieve the key and save his sisters on his own, and the thieving lizard leaves upset, claiming they cheated as she retreats in her broken Slinker.
In "Spray Paint Showdown", Dax, Shelly, and Wingo attend the unveiling of a new mural by a monkey artist named Cappuccino, only for the Slink to show up and start spray painting her signature on everything. Shelly, in a fit of rage over the lizard's antics, uses her spray painter on the wall, revealing her as she tries to escape, and she leaves embarrassed.
Within "The Great Bridge Face-Off," the Slink returns with her Sneaky Slinker and challenges Dax, Shelly, and Wingo in getting a group of animals down three bridges to a river for a drink. She slimes the second bridge with her slime bombs, and Shelly uses the shell on her Robo-Suit to slide everyone across. She then uses her vehicle to make the last bridge invisible, which initially confuses everyone until they see the sloth climbing underneath it, and Wingo gets the idea to make it visible by blowing dirt onto it. She then leaves, vowing to return.
"Crab-Cuffed" has the Slink and Gimme Pig brawling over how to escape with Crabitha's tiara, as she prefers leaving from up high, whereas Gimme prefers using the sewers. She later decides to try using her invisibility powers, only for Crabitha and Gimme to point out they can't do the same thing, forcing them to run outside. In the end, Dax, Shelly, and Wingo manage to save Crabitha and her tiara, and net the thieving duo.
"Bye Bye Blankie" has the Slink snatched Crabitha's donated tiara from a skunk named Sweetie, and ride a tube car to try and escape. She ends up scaring said skunk and runs off after being stunk with the skunk's stench. Booster manages to use his Suit's super smell to track her down, and the team corners her, so she gives the tiara back and plans on going home for a warm bath.
In "The Slink's Sidekicks", the lizard thief spies on team RoboGobo as they save Risky, Royale, and Sugar and gets the idea to make her own team to boss around. She tricks the raccoon siblings into being her lookout and getaway driver respectively. She manages to steal Dame Luxley and Crabitha's necklaces, and RoboGobo goes to help, only to crash into the Sneaky Slinker, which the raccoon siblings are having too much fun piloting it. They start rolling on the tube car pipes, and the Slink unintentionally reveals her true nature to the raccoons, and they get saved by Team RoboGobo, while the Slink crashes into a sandcastle.
In "Play Day", the Slink attempts to disrupt Dame Luxley and Crabitha's play by locking them up and use a spider made from her glue, which results in her crashing into a clothes rack. Booster goes to stop her and after she gets sprayed with hairspray, Booster uses his Suit's sniffing ability to track her down, only to get caught in the same glue trap. They then disrupt the play to embarrass her, and drag her away with the wires on set.
During "The Maze of Mystery", the Slink is suspected of robbing the farm after Dax and Booster see a pie floating in the air, only for the blue dog to learn that, like Gimme Pig, she's been at the mall, getting a beauty appointment finished.
In "Scaredy Bat", the Slink goes around using her invisibility to scare everyone during Silly Scare Night. She then tries using her Sneaky Slinker to frighten people, only for team RoboGobo to use her fear of the dark against her. She hides where a bat named Beatty was hiding, and gets scared out of scaring people, then leaves.
"Family Fun Night Fiasco" has the Slink trip up Pupsicle in his Trucksicle and argue with him over which of them is the better villain.
