The Spectre is the overarching antagonist of the 2024 Roblox multiplayer asymmetrical horror game Forsaken.
The Spectre is made of code and is an omnipresent, multi-dimension being who is the ruler of the Forsaken realm and is responsible for the lore/events of Forsaken. The Spectre puts its victims through "games of hell" (according to Tyler) and controls what the survivors and killers' abilities are, being able to remove and/or add them. The Spectre traps its victims (or survivors) via kidnapping them and/or after their death, putting them in this limbo for eternity. The Spectre can pick the killer by choosing the person with the most malice.
The Spectre only wants power. It watches its victims suffer in its death games with no remorse. The Spectre's lore is not finished, as the ARG isn't finished or done yet.
Personality[]
The Spectre is a sadistic tormentor, as it only wants power and control. It manipulates its victims, turning them into its own puppets that it plays with for eternity. The Spectre will go as far to play with users' mind before kidnapping the user and torturing the specific users. It sees its victims as its play toys for its own entertainment. Even if the user grow numb to the torture, The Spectre will just make the user cease to exist as with one of its first victims, Tyler. It doesn't care how young or old the user is, as seen with David.
Biography[]
Origins and Creation of Forsaken Realm[]
The origins of The Spectre are currently unknown. However, it maybe beginningless and endless, since it poses as a False God. At some point in time, The Spectre created the Forsaken Realm, a torture realm where it places its kidnapped victims from the mortal realm for entertainment. From then point on, The Spectre would kidnap people and place them in this realm for eternity. It would specifically go after vulnerable Robloxians, manipulating and/or driving them to insanity to make them become bloodthirsty Killers, while others would become Survivors, forcing them to go into hiding to avoid themselves from being killed.
Tyler's Story[]
At some point, The Spectre took a fascination in a kid named Tyler. It's unknown how long it had this fascination; however, it decided to kidnap him in his bed.
Tyler states that he had a bad day and laid down in his bed, then, the sky turned different shades of gray. He ignores it at first and then says small things started to happen around him. Things like small illusions started to appear but once again, he thinks that it's his mind playing tricks on him. Then, his walls started to contort around him with his room starting to twist.
He then tries to move and scream for help; however, the air grew heavier and heavier making him unable to scream. Then, a wall stretched towards him (presumably The Spectre) and struck him, blacking him out and taking him into its realm.
After Tyler woke up, he realized that he wasn't in his home now. He describes the sky being "painted with an unsettling hue". The emptiness starts to get to him, realizing he's alone presumably forever. He then encounters it as it puts him in one of its "games of hell". He later sees a "strange figure with a hockey mask on" (Jason), wielding a machete. Tyler then describes getting slashed to death by Jason, turning him into an unrecognizable mess.
Tyler would go through this process over and over again, stating that he would get a break of fresh air at a location that resembled a beachside forest, but his fate would happen again, for 200 years.
Tyler would then start to grow numb to this psychological torture, which The Spectre realizes. It sends him to a void like state, making him cease to exist after he lives out his usefulness of torture to it. However, Tyler remained alive it this state, making him realize he would be like this for eternity.
Tyler then studies this mysterious being, however, only able to observe it. He would then label it "The Spectre".
David's Story[]
Going to the @APieceForThePuzzle account's t-shirt will be a Caeser Code. Deciphering it, would read the following message "His name was David, He was far too young to be sentenced to a painful eternity, but it did not care. It only wanted more power."
By this message, it's stated that David was too young to be sent to the pain of The Spectre's realm. However, it only wanted power, and power only.

C00lkidd was adopted by 007n7 after being abandoned as a pill baby. 007n7 would quit exploiting to take care of c00lkidd. After growing up, c00lkidd would be gifted the c00lgui and start chaos, mostly noting, Builder's Brothers Pizza, where Elliot worked at the time. Elliot would then blacklist 007n7 and c00lkidd because of the chaos.
After a while, c00lkidd would go missing (mostly likely forsaken) and presumably kill Elliot (as seen in the Milestone 4 render), leaving 007n7 worries and fearful about losing his child. He would ultimately kill himself by shooting himself with a gun and be forsaken later.
After The Spectre forsake c00lkidd, it would morph him into a stronger and fleshier killer, deceiving him into thinking the victims he kills are just taking a nap and/or playing an innocent game of tag.
John Doe[]

Before being forsaken, John Doe lived a happy life, marrying ████ Doe. However, he later got corrupted by defunct code (likely from The Spectre), destroying his mind in the process and making him forget about his wife.
It's unknown when he got corrupted by this defunct code, nor when he got forsaken. It's said that if he sees ████ Doe again, he will fall in love with her again; however, The Spectre will attempt to block those feelings.

1x1x1x1 is the embodiment of hatred from Shedsletsky, wanting nothing but to kill his creator. 1x1x1x1 likely got persuaded by The Spectre into killing and/or torturing his creator.
If 1x1x1x1 and Shedletsky are the only ones in Last Man Stand (LMS), a theme called "Creation of Hatred" will play.
Azure[]

Azure, an upcoming killer, used to be in a cult called "The Spawn" with their partner, Two Time. Note that the cult is a hoax. However, as the days passed, Two Time would grow obsessed with The Spawn, ultimately leading him to kill Azure, presumably on April 26th. Two Time, due to the guilt of killing his partner, laying in the poisonous field of Nightblade flowers and presumably kills themselves, later to be forsaken by The Spectre
After they died, The Spectre would come to the now deceased Azure, posing as The Spawn. It would then act as a false god, deluding Azure into believing he would ascend if they followed him. Azure, still having faith in The Spawn, followed it, slowly changing him into a manifestation of his worst traits/feelings. Azure's ghastly hat now represents an extension to The Spectre's influence on him, being able to talk for him since his mouth is now zipped.
Azure wishes to be back to his pre-sacrifice self with his partner with Two Time, however, he's now a puppet to The Spectre and its death games due to his now state.
Guest 666[]

Guest 666 used to be friends with Noob; however, their friendship became to decay, leading to both of them doing something awful to one another and Noob running away from them, making Guest 666 think they abandoned them.
Guest 666 would later do a terrible decision, transforming them into a monster or hacker from their greed and jealously. Later, Guest 666 would go missing, being banned by Builderman, leaving him with an everlasting hatred too Noob since they couldn't apologize to Guest 666. The Spectre, after forsaking them, puts them under its own influence. Guest 666's body would morph even more, turning them into its puppet killer.
Despite the events between Guest 666 and Noob, they both regret what happened between them.
iTrapped[]

iTrapped, an unconfirmed killer, was "buddies" with Chance. iTrapped would kill him at an unknown date to gain the keys to the Banlands to reunite with Ellernate and Caleb244 once again.

Noob[]
Noob
Noob and Guest 666 used to be best friends; however, had a falling out with one another. Noob became quiet and closed off while Guest 666 turned into a monster and hacker and later being banned by Builderman before Noob could apologize to them. Noob would then start to make more friends and stop becoming closed off. However, they got forsaken by The Spectre during their recovery.
Noob still regrets what between them and Guest 666. It's said that if Noob sees Guest 666 again, he will go in a state of shock.
007n7[]
007n7
007n7 adopted a baby named c00lkidd after being dropped off at his doorstep. He would retire hacking with Noli to tend to the baby. Once c00lkidd grew up, 007n7 gave him the c00lgui. C00lkidd would use this gui to wreak havoc across Robloxia, mostly Builder's Brothers Pizza, making Elliot blacklist 007n7 because of him.
Later, c00lkidd would go missing (most likely forsaken), leaving him in a state of terror and fearful, ultimately leading him to kill himself and The Spectre forsaking 007n7.
If 007n7 and c00lkidd are the only ones in Last Man Standing (LMS), a theme called "Plead" will play.
Guest 1337[]

This story follows The Last Guest movie by ObliviousHD with a little twist
Guest 1337 lived a normal life with his parents until their deaths by the Bacon General. After he got sent to an orphanage, he met childhood friend Matt and his future wife, Daisy. After they got married, Guest 1337 enlisted in the military to protect his wife and his daughter. After Matt gets shot, Guest 1337 has a last man stand with the Bacon General, sacrificing himself to kill him. This sacrifice gets him sent to the Forsaken realm by The Spectre.
Chance[]

Chance grew up in prestige and immense wealth by his parents, seeing their child growing up as a successor of their fortune. Chance would get into trouble a lot growing up, being scolded by his parents. However, he wouldn't, for the feel of adrenaline. Once he came of legal age, he started to gamble at his parents' casino.
During this time, a group of users named Pheedy, are17, and iTrapped set freed Ellernate, Minish, and Diginity, starting a manhunt for the users except for iTrapped. Mysterious, the Darkheart, a sword, had disappear, making users assume that the sword disappeared at the same time. In reality, iTrapped got the sword, amplifying his greed and malicious intent.
3 years after the incident, Chance stumbles upon iTrapped when entering his parents' casino. The two hit it off, making Chance think that he had made a new friend. However, iTrapped saw it differently. The only reason he even walked up to Chance was because he heard that he was the casino owner's son and wanted to get close to him to get into their estate, as it was said that his parents had the keys to the Banlands and a massive vault.
As 3 months passed, Chance started to see a "friendship" blossom upon. iTrapped; however, saw it differently. iTrapped was slowly getting impatient and restless, wanting to kill or get rid of Chance as fast as possible, so he decides to set up a Russian Roulette game, planning for Chance to get killed during the game to "test his luck." But he didn't expect Chance, with is immense luck, making it to last man standing in each game they played.
After another game of Russian Roulette, iTrapped got fed up, so he decided to kill Chance himself. After they exited the casino, Chance, gleaming with excited, was about the boast to iTrapped but he stops him. They disappeared in the night, with Chance's last memory being iTrapped manifesting the Darkheart and darting towards him.
The next thing he knew, he woke up in an unfamiliar place. He had been forsaken by The Spectre.
Two Time[]
Two Time
Two Time used to be in a cult called "The Spawn" with their partner, Azure. They would, however, start to get uncontrollably crazy and maniac, and killed Azure for a sacrifice. They first felt regretful, however, on a photo with Azure, they cross both of them and spelling "GLORY TO THE SPAWN" showing their devotion to The Spawn. Two Time presumably kills themselves later.
Dueskkar[]
Dueskkar
Dueskkar (real name Matt Duesk) is a powerful being that was forsaken by The Spectre. What makes him different is that The Spectre couldn't forsake through its means, so it kidnapped him in his sleep and his house to the Forsaken realm. After that, it heavily nerfed him.
Power & Abilities[]
- Omnipresence: The Spectre can watch over its victims in its realm and spy on prey in the mortal realm through the sky.
- Omniscience: The Spectre knows its victims' weaknesses, knows what hurts them the most, and knows when to kidnap its victims when they in a vulnerable state
- Reality Warping: The Spectre can warp and bend reality itself to kidnap its victim and create the Forsaken realm.
- Human Morphing: It can morph an average Roblox player's body into a killer-like humanoid with supernatural abilities and powers (e.g., c00lkidd, Guest 666, John Doe, etc.)
- Imprisonment Realm Creation: The Spectre created the realm to imprison its hopeless victims for eternity
- Immortality: Since The Spectre in made out of code, it cannot be killed nor destroyed in anyway
- Noncorporeality: The Spectre doesn't have a true form nor design, the only known form of it is its presence
- Genius-Level Intelligence: The Spectre has an excellence of manipulation, deceiving multiple users and tricking them into doing its bidding. In its realm, it tricks Azure into thinking it was the God, The Spawn, to make him follow it, only to end up becoming a puppet killer of The Spectre
- Psychological Warfare: The Spectre psychologically tortures it victims through its death games, repeating the cycle over and over again to break the users' mind and soul until they don't even know who they are or become a puppet of it
- Resurrection: The Spectre can resurrect players and NPCs over and over again in the Forsaken realm forever

- The Spectre can choose what survivors to forsake from their negative feelings, grief, and/or guilt.
