The Star is a major antagonist in the video game Joyville 2. He is a Mascot of Joyville and the first boss of the game.
He was portrayed by Klaus von Hohenloe.
Biography[]
The Star is of unknown origin, but was seemingly created by Harrison Vanderbilt, but was corrupted by the creator's dark past. Vanderbilt's past caused his creations to be similarly dark like he was, with the Star adapting a failure intolerant, egotistical, self-absorbed narcissistic personality.
When confronted by the Protagonist, the Star will challenge them to a dance battle, which the Protagonist will win. Upon defeat, the Star refuses to accept his defeat, and accuses the Protagonist of cheating, before running at him with intent to kill.
The Protagonist flees from the Star, and ends up continuing the chase in the vents. The Star will follow, but slips and ends up getting chopped in an active fan in the vents, before dying.
Appearance[]
The Star is a humanoid mascot in a hot pink, yellow and purple jumpsuit. He wears a grinning mask over his face, hiding his real one. His hostile form appears to be a blacklight suit for performances in the dark. His sleeves and mask become much more bird-like, and his eyes and teeth are now on display.
Personality[]
During the first meeting with the Star, he's a positive and excitable instructor who happily cheers the protagonist on through his dance routine. Once he becomes corrupted, he becomes an unhinged, narcissistic perfectionist with a deadly temper.
