No. Something's wrong. Emptiness, void, oh the cold terrible loneliness! NOOOOOO!!
~ The Supreme Intelligence’s last words while trying to absorb Johnny Bravo's non-functioning brain, but Johnny turns out to not have one, causing the alien's head to explode.

The Supreme Intelligence is the main antagonist of the Johnny Bravo episode, "Third Dork From The Sun".

He was voiced by veteran voice actor Gregg Berger, who also voices Jed McScam in Bonkers, Slobber Trap in Skylanders: Trap Team, Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio in Spider Man: The Animated Series, Simian Sentry in Spider Man: Battle for New York, Omar, Mama Meany, and Harry in Garfield, SAL 3000 in Recess, Carlos Mendoza in Command & Conquer: Renegade, Commander Octodon in Danger Rangers, The Gromble in AAAHH!!! Real Monsters, Ripto, Gulp and Crush in Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, Rogash in The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth 2: The Rise of the Witch-king, The Pain in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Nemesis T-Type in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

Personality[]

The Supreme Intelligence has a personality that is arrogant, calculating, self-important, and ultimately petty and gullible.

Specific personality traits include:

  • Arrogance and Condescension: The Supreme Intelligence views itself as a vastly superior intellectual being compared to the "inferior" lifeforms it abducts (including humans like Johnny).
  • A Game Show Host: It frames its intergalactic destruction as a "game show," complete with a "bonus round," which highlights a cruel, showman-like personality that enjoys putting its victims through demeaning competitions before destroying their worlds.
  • Villainous and Insensitive: The character is a cold, heartless villain, utterly insensitive to the fate of the people and planets it destroys. Its primary goal is self-serving: to gain more knowledge and power by "sucking the brain out" of contestants.
  • Overly Confident in its Intellect: It is so confident in its own "vast intelligence" that it never considers the possibility that a creature could have no brain to absorb. This fatal oversight is its undoing.
  • Gullible and Materialistic (in a weird way): Despite its vast intellect, it is easily manipulated by Johnny's simple demands. When Johnny is told he's playing for the freedom of others, he is indifferent. But when the Supreme Intelligence offers him "chocolaty marshmallows," Johnny eagerly accepts the challenge, showing the alien villain is susceptible to base, trivial motivations when dealing with someone as dimwitted as Johnny.
  • Dramatic in Defeat: Its last words are a dramatic and existential scream of despair when it discovers the "emptiness, void, oh the cold terrible loneliness!" inside Johnny's head, which leads to its explosion.

Biography[]

When Johnny tried to fix the house's TV set instead of hiring a repairman to fix it, he accidentally contacted the Supreme Intelligence of a game show planet, who greets Johnny once he came on the TV screen until he molecular transports Johnny into the game show planet.

Once Johnny beat both 1 of 2 and Kleptor in the first two rounds, he is forced to go one on one with the Supreme Intelligence in a bonus round called "Suck My Brain Out!", ready to defend his Quatloos against Johnny in mano a mano combat, but Johnny has had enough of the game show planet abducting people and destroying their home planets when they lose, choosing to play for freedom against the evil aliens, but is talked out of it when the Supreme Intelligence offers him chocolaty marshmallows if he wins. Once the bonus round started, the Supreme Intelligence places brain tentacles on Johnny's forehead to try and absorb his mind, but after a few seconds, the Supreme Intelligence is horrified to see that Johnny has no brain at all, resulting in his brain to explode, killing him. As the result of Johnny winning the competition, their own planet was destroyed, and Johnny sent back to Earth with a chocolaty marshmallows with him.

Trivia[]

  • Species and Role: The Supreme Intelligence is an alien entity and the host of a deadly game show, who abducts individuals and destroys their home planets if they lose the competition.
  • Appearance: It appears as a giant green alien head with hair made of tentacles.
  • The Bonus Round: Its primary "bonus round" is called "Suck My Brain Out!" in which it attempts to absorb the contestant's mind using its brain tentacles to gain their knowledge and powers.
  • Demise: The character meets its end when it attempts to absorb Johnny Bravo's brain. To its horror, it discovers that Johnny has no brain at all ("Emptiness, void, oh the cold terrible loneliness!"), which causes the alien's own head to explode.
  • Motivation: The Supreme Intelligence offered Johnny "chocolaty marshmallows" if he won the final round, which convinced Johnny to play despite his initial desire to play for the freedom of the abducted people.
  • Aftermath: As a result of Johnny winning, the alien's planet was destroyed, and Johnny was sent back to Earth with the promised chocolaty marshmallows.
  • Marvel Connection: The name and appearance are likely a parody of the Marvel Comics character "Supreme Intelligence," an organic computer construct and leader of the Kree alien race, which also has a tentacled appearance and vast intellect.
