The Swarm is one of the major antagonistic factions in the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail. They are the horde of insectoid alien invaders that are capable for producing many offsprings at alarming rate, so much that it was considered one of the great threats of Cosmos. They're the spawn of the Aeon of Propagation, Tayzzyronth Themselves. Though the Aeon of Propagation is currently dead, their remnants were unfortunately still alive, capable of reproduce at incalculable rate via mitosis.
They originally came from the world of Lepismat, but through the actions of two warring groups: The Bounty Hunters & Elydichnan army. The Swarm were created by Tayzzyronth after its ascension, out of desire to repopulate. The Swarm metamorphosed into a self-duplicating horror, leading to Swarm Disaster.

The Swarm Disaster[]
Tayzzyronth was one of the Coleoptera that inhabited the once-flourishing planet, Lepismat. But after the Elydichan Army and Bounty Hunters were in conflict with each other, many of the Coleoptera were hunted into extinction with only Tayzzyronth's ascent as Aeon of Propagation out of sense of loneliness, hatred, and desperation, the tides have turned. The Ascension of Tayzzyronth have split the path of Permanence from then deceased Aeon Long.

Swarm Kings[]
The highest authority of the Swarm after Tayzzyronth Themselves. While there is not much information about them, it can be interpreted that they are the leader of the Hive Mind as well as Tayzzyronth's proxy. The Swarm Kings have the entire of lineaged species named after them. The Swarm Kings were implied to be Emanators of Propagation, with one of them, Skaracabaz was confirmed as one of a kind.
