The Thief is a minor antagonist in Pingu in the City.
He is a thief who stole a woman's wallet and got covered in blue paint which caused a confusion between him and Pingu.
He is voiced by Fumiya Tanaka.
Appearance[]
The thief is a teenage penguin with black feathers, a white chest, a short round head, a yellow line on his chest, orange feet, and an orange flat triangular beak, he also wears a green cap.
When he got covered in blue paint, his body and outfit became all blue and shiny, the only parts that didn't become blue are his eyes, his bottom part, and half of his legs.
Personality[]
The Thief is quite greedy and arrogant as he does things not very nice, such as stealing and littering.
Biography[]
The Big Blue Chase[]
The thief was first seen looking for items which confused Pingu. The thief sneaked and stole a woman's wallet which shocked the woman and Pingu. The thief bumped into Pingu and then he runned into the ladder the carpenter was standing which caused the carpenter to dump the thief in blue paint, the thief than ran away as fast as possible and everyone started chasing after him. When Pingu got covered in blue paint, everyone mistook him for the thief, then the real thief came and they started chasing after him, then Pingu came and they mistook him for the thief and they started chasing after him, then the real thief came and they started chasing after him, then Pingu came and they mistook him for the thief and they started chasing after him, then the real thief came and they started chasing after him, and then the people got stuck in a loop, after being stuck in a loop the people got so tired.
After that Pingu and the thief were huffing for all of their running, they were so shocked when they saw each other, and they started walking opposite directions until Pingu noticed he was closer to the people so he went the same direction as the thief.
When Chef Fred and the woman saw the thief they were shocked and Chef Fred started chasing after him, then Pingu came and Chef Fred started chasing after him as well. Chef Fred captured Pingu and he mistook him for the thief but luckily Pingu escaped.
The Thief and Pingu were seen again running and the people were shocked when they saw them. The carpenter and the policewoman started chasing after them.
The firefighter sprayed water at them which washed away their paint, and they discovered who the real thief was and the other one was Pingu. After that the policewoman took the wallet from the thief and gave it to Pingu and Pingu gave it back to the woman.
Pingu on Patrol![]
The Thief is shown drinking and eating a candy bar, he throws the candy wrapper at another penguin, which makes the penguin mad, so he scolds the penguin to leave him alone. When he finishes drinking the soda he throws the cup on the ground, so Chef Fred scolds him to take the cup, but the Thief ignores and scolds him, so Pingu picks the cup up and tries to give it to him, but he ignores Pingu, and scolds Fred, the Thief took the cup, and scolds Pingu and threw the cup away, he scolds Fred, Pingu places the cup on the ground so he would trip and roll into a trash can, Pingu gives the cup back to him.
