The Three Murderers are fictionalized characters who appeared as the secondary antagonists in the "Hell on the Earth 2006" episode from South Park series. They are based on three real-life infamous serial killers: Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy.
Dahmer and Gacy were voiced by Matt Stone (who also voices some of the other characters, such as Father Maxi) while Bundy was voiced by Trey Parker, who voices other characters in the series as well, including Eric Cartman, as well as Kim Jong-il in Team America: World Police and Balthazar Bratt in Despicable Me 3.
History[]
Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy, who reside in Hell, were given the task of picking up Satan's Ferrari-shaped birthday cake, but the trio quickly descended into Three Stooges-esque antics, with Bundy playing the role of Moe, Dahmer playing the role of Larry, and Gacy playing the role of Curly.
Later, when the cake is destroyed, and they have to make a new one themselves due to killing the bakers, they get into a fight over who has to get the Ten Thousand eggs. During the fight, Bundy tears out Gacy's eyes with his fingers and cuts off Dahmer's tongue. He is then stabbed in the ribs and through the roof of his mouth by Dahmer causing him to collapse to the floor. Gacy (without his eyes) hits Dahmer in the head with a rolling pin. They returned to Hell following their deaths and have not been seen since. They were all most likely punished for their failure in retrieving the Ferrari cake.
Trivia[]
- Bundy is the only member of the group to not have any biological siblings. Gacy had two sisters and Dahmer had a brother.
- Bundy also never met his biological father, whereas Dahmer and Gacy were raised by their fathers along with their mothers.
- Similarly, Dahmer is the only one to not have been married or had kids. Bundy had taken advantage of an obscure Florida law alongside a woman whom he had asked to marry him to avoid prison, and he was later named as her daughter's father, while Gacy was married twice and had two children. Dahmer is also the only member of the group to appear more than once, as he appears during the song "Christmastime in Hell" in the episode "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics".
- Bundy was executed in 1989 and Gacy in 1994, while Dahmer was murdered in prison by another inmate in 1994. This makes Dahmer the only one not to receive the death penalty.
- Each of the murderers were intended to appear in South Park: The Stick of Truth but were cut in the final version. Their friend icons can still be found in the game files.
- Bundy was the only one of the three that wasn't seen killing anyone in the episode, unlike the other two. However, this was likely in part because he only killed women in real life.
