The Tri

The Tri is the overarching antagonist in the videogame LEGO Dimensions.

They are a fusion creature created by Lord Vortech from Robin, Frodo Baggins, and Metalbeard being controlled by Vortech's piece.

They are voiced by Scott Menville (for Robin), Elijah Wood (for Frodo), and Nick Offerman (for MetalBeard).

Biography[]

In the first level of LEGO Dimensions, Lord Vortech kidnaps three sidekick characters, Robin, Frodo, and Metalbeard, and takes the Foundation Elements, and trapped the three sidekicks in his lair. Shortly after, Lord Vortech transformed them all into the Tri, a mech which was a combined version of Ronin, Frodo and Metalbeard's bodies. The Tri were supposed to collide the dimensions, as commanded by Lord Vortech. The Tri had attempted to defeat Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle, although failed. When Batman tried to speak to Robin, the Tri had responded that there is no Robin, and attacks them, though X-PO opens a rift for them to escape, Vortech than uses the Scale Keystone to increase the Tri's size and sends them after the trio. The Tri later reappears when Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle go through the multiple collapsing dimensions, and end up facing the Tri in Gotham City, where they break into the Tri's body and freeing their captive friends from it, Batman the destroys the Tri for good by throwing a batarang at a piece of Vortech in its body, causing it to explode.
