~ Foresight after the Hero takes down a base, implying that the Piglins fear the Unbreakable. |
The Unbreakable is one of the secondary antagonists of the 2023 action-strategy game, Minecraft Legends. They are the formidable leader of the Horde of the Bastion, assisting the Great Hog in the Piglin invasion. They are known for the most heavily fortified bases and dangerous Piglin minions.
Like other Piglins, they communicate with growls, squeals, and roars. They are voiced by Rick Zieff, who also voiced Croaks in The Cuphead Show.
Personality[]
Like most other Piglins, the Unbreakable is ruthless tyrant who doesn't care the well-being of others. Most notably, they regularly kill their own Piglins more than other Horde generals, to the point where even their own minions fear them. The Unbreakable shows no sympathy for the Piglins killing each other, even laughing as they do so. It's also implied that they torture their own minions, as a cutscene shows a Piglin Runt is seen hanging upside-down in a cage.
As stated in their journal entry, the Unbreakable is very power-hungry, vigorously attempting to climb to the highest rank. This means that the Unbreakable does not truly care about the Great Hog, seeking for any opportunity to take his throne.
Appearance[]
As a Horde General, the Unbreakable is a massive Piglin, second only to the Great Hog in size. Like the rest of the Horde of the Bastion, they are most armored, equipped a golden arm-cannon and a massive furnace on their back. Their design and color scheme somewhat resemble Piglin Brutes from vanilla Minecraft.
History[]
The Unbreakable is first seen when the Great Hog summons all three horde generals to a meeting. The latter orders an entire invasion on the Overworld, prompting the Beast to send the first wave of Piglins into the Overworld.
After the Hero destroys multiple outposts, the Great Hog is furious, choking the Beast for their failure. The Unbreakable and the Devourer sadistically laugh at the Beast's humiliation. The Great Hog finally hurls the Beast against a wall before summoning the Seer to the map table. The elderly Piglin uses what appears to be the Orb of Dominance to create the Night Beacon before ordering a few Runts to carry it into the Overworld. However, the Hero would destroy the Night Beacon, causing a Runt to deliver the message to the Great Hog and Horde Generals, only to be aggressively beat up. After this, each Horde General returned to their respective bases.
Following the destruction of a Piglin base, a Runt drags the mace of a fallen Portal Guard to their leader. The Runt sheepishly presented the weapon to the Unbreakable, urging them to furiously hit another Piglin into lava. The Unbreakable surges forward, angrily confronting the Runt. The fate of this Runt is unknown.
The Unbreakable inspects the next set of troops to head into battle: a dozen Brutes and a Portal Guard. Two Brutes get into a small skirmish over one of them bumping into the other, ending with one of them hitting the other into lava. After the Unbreakable watched the fight, they sadistically laughs for the Brute who committed the kill. A Portal Guard stood ready to battle, with a small Runt beside him. The Unbreakable used their arm-cannon to kill the Runt before telling their troops to leave. As the Unbreakable watched their minions enter a nether portal, they maniacally laugh.
In a final preparation before confronting the Hero, the Unbreakable practiced shooting their arm-cannon on a few prisoners. After finishing off the last one, their arm-cannon malfunctions, prompting three Runts to fix it. Once the weapon is repaired, the Unbreakable shoots a sculpture of the Hero, showing the intent to kill them.
They enter through a nether portal into the final piglin base, where they confronted the Hero and their army. After an intense battle, the weakened Unbreakable attempts to fire one final shot at the Hero, but his back furnace explodes, & he topples over in defeat.
