The Underground are the main antagonists of the 2020 action-adventure superhero video game Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the second installment in Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man series.
They are a group of criminals who dreamed of becoming the city's next biggest crime lords. When the Tinkerer offered them advanced and powerful weapons, they joined her in her quest to take down Simon Krieger and Roxxon to avenge her brother, which put them into conflict with Miles Morales/Spider-Man as they caused havoc throughout the city.
Their members were voiced by Erin Yvette, Kelsey Lansdowne, Alexa Rose Sarah Elmaleh, Misty Lee, Robbie Daymond, Farley Jackson, Zeno Robinson, Sean Chiplock, Lucien Dodge, Angel Oquendo and Chris Tergliafera.

Past[]
Not much is known about The Underground's past. The most that is known is that they started off as a relatively small group of criminals who desired to become the next big criminal organization. At some point, they allied with Tombstone's gang to achieve these ends, but the alliance ended up falling apart when one of the Underground members killed a member of Tombstone's gang. The Underground were given their opportunity when the Devil's Breath crisis left a massive power vacuum which they could exploit to fulfil their long-standing dreams.
At some point, members of The Underground tried to rob Phin Mason's shop but were easily taken down by her 3D-printed programmable matter technology. However, Phin (sensing an opportunity) offered the gang a deal. She would provide them with all kinds of powerful weapons in exchange for their help in taking down Roxxon and Simon Krieger, as he was responsible for the murder of her brother. The Underground accepted with little hesitation and become unrivalled in power. With Phin's new technology, with her having renamed herself the Tinkerer, they completely wipe out the Inner Demons and stole plenty of territory from the Kingpin's gang. According to Phin, most of the Underground members didn't care at all about her goal; they just want the opportunity for more weapons and the chance to expand their power.
Miles Morales[]
As Roxxon begins building up to their unveiling of Roxxon Plaza, the Underground properly begin their campaign; first destroying the subway controls and halting all trains due to the trains transporting Nuform but this is thwarted by the new Spider-Man. Later that night, the Underground attack Rio Morales' rally which the new Spider-Man thwarts but it turns out to be a distraction whilst the Underground attacks Braithwaite Bridge where a Nuform shipment is being held. Led by the Tinkerer herself, they successfully attack and steal a Nuform canister (even if Spider-Man infects it with Venom in the process) and also destroy the bridge.
Eventually, Phin stops Roxxon but sacrifices herself to prevent her weapon from destroying the city. Afterwards, the Underground go back to being a relatively small criminal organization without the weapons they are being provided with.
Spider-Man 2[]
A almost year after the death of the Tinkrer, caches from the Underground remain scattered across New York City but the organisation no longer exists. Whilst taking the first Tech Parts from a Cache, Miles notes that the Underground were picked apart by other larger gangs without the Tinkerer and her technology.
