The Tribesfolk are minor antagonists of the 1995 horror video game I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, based on the 1967 short story of same name by the late Harlan Ellison.

Biography

When Benny first arrives in the village, he finds the Mutant Child and his mother, before finding the tribe about to play the lottery. The child's mother ends up being sacrificed, and the child is to be sacrificed the next day if Benny does not intervene.

In the Bad Ending of the game, the tribe most likely continues on with their sacrifices, and the child is most likely sacrificed, as there is no longer anyone left to protect them.

In the Good Ending of the game, all the remaining members of the tribe are most likely killed in the explosion that occurs upon AM's defeat. It is possible that only the shrine exploded, and that the tribesfolk survived, but it is more likely that the entire pocket dimension exploded upon AM's defeat.

The leader of the villagers who owns the lottery bag that they use to determine who will be sacrificed.

The Sentry

The guard of the Supermarket that prevents Benny from taking food.

Toto

An intelligent young boy that the other members dislike. He figured out how to use one of AM's screens to communicate. He becomes friend with Benny.

The Mother

Toto's mother who protected her child from the other villagers until she was selected to be sacrificed to AM, leaving her son defenceless.
