The Mysterious Figure (also known as the Voice) is the main antagonist of the 2024 Roblox RPG game Block Tales, serving as the main antagonist of the pre-prologue and serving as the overarching antagonist throughout all of the chapters in the game.
They are an enigmatic figure who sought revenge against David Baszucki for an undisclosed reason. They invade the Roblox Convention in order to put their plans into notion, only to be stopped by the player when they then activate a time machine that causes them to be sent back to 2010. In this time period, they would then take on the role as the "Voice" and manipulate people into stealing the seven Sword Fight on the Heights swords, presumably to achieve great power from them.

From what is seen in the game, the Mysterious Figure is a very manipulative being. They are also shown to not care about the Cruel King or The Griefer, as the Griefer realizes in Chapter 2 that he was set up and used by the Voice.
Biography[]
In the pre-prologue of the game, the Mysterious Figure ambushes David Baszucki mid-presentation at the Roblox Convention in an act of revenge of what he has done to the community. An attendant, JParty attempts to stop the figure, but is easily dispatched by their henchmen, before Harry and Mary wake their grandfather up to the situation. The grandfather, Tutortial Terry immediately recognizes the figure, and then tells the player to use the dodgeball JParty dropped in order to battle the Mysterious Figure's henchmen. Although the player succeeds in subduing the two minions, the Mysterious Figure reveals a time machine as they plan to likely endanger everybody by sending them back in time, and Terry order the player to throw their dodgeball at the machine. The player does so but the time machine malfunction as the Mysterious Figure, David Baszucki, and the player are absorbed by the device.
Afterwards, it is likely that the Mysterious Figure was brought into the year 2010 offscreen. There, they would go on to obtain the power from the seven Sword Fight on the Heights swords by manipulating different people to do their bidding. They manipulate the Cruel King for the Ice Dagger, the Griefer for the Venomshank, and Captain Trotter for the Firebrand. They additionally also attempt to manipulate the player and prevent them from obtaining the Ghostwalker by physically manifesting their manipulation so that it can consume their heart and prevent them from interfering with their plans.

- One of the storywriters confirmed that Hatred is the physical manifestation of Mysterious Figure's effect on the player.
- This was also hinted at with some dialogue from Mayor Thaniyel.
