The Voice is the overarching antagonist of the 2016 film The Belko Experiment. He is the mastermind behind the Belko experiment, which involves trapping every employee of Belko Industries inside the building, and making them kill each other to survive.

He was played by Gregg Henry, who also portrayed Martin Proctor in Black Lightning, Gallatin in Star Trek: Insurrection, Brother Blood in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, and Edmund Ross in Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Biography[]

The Voice was first heard when all Belko employees arrive the building, he instructs them to kill two of their co-workers, or there will be consequences. Some of them try to flee the building, however steel shutters seal the walls and doors, leaving no chance to escape.

Everyone thought it was a sick prank, but when the set time ended, and with nobody dead, four employees died upon the explosives hidden inside their trackers. Mike attempt to remove the tracker with box cutter, until the voice tells him that he'll die if he remove it.

After Mike killed Barry Norris and being the sole survivor, the soldiers escorted him to the hangar, where he met the voice, The Voice said that they're part of an international organization studying human behavior, as the voice and his colleagues question Mike about his mental state, Mike notices a panel of switches that correspond to the eighty employees, including the soldiers. Mike flipped the switches and killed the soldiers, he quickly grabbed a gun and killed the Voice's scientists. The Voice attempted to reason with Mike, only for Mike to shoot him in the forehead.

Trivia[]

  • When he was heard, he had a much younger sounding voice. When he physically appeared, his real voice was that of his actual age.
