Joshua Waldemeyer, also known as The Wall or The Wicked Wall, is a Marvel supervillain that originates from the Spidey Super Stories meant to promote The Electric Company.

Once a happy high school student, Joshua was caught up in an accident that turned him into the supervillain known as The Wall, who went on to become an enemy of Spiderman.

Appearance[]

Joshua formerly appeared to be a caucasian male with blond hair. After becoming the Wall, he appeared to be a brick wall, his body being four bricks wide and four bricks tall. At the top of his body was a singular brick with his face in its center.

Past[]

While in high school, Joshua was working on a project that involved putting cement onto a brick wall. A sudden accident occurred that caused the wall to collapse on top of him, fusing the brick with his body. This turned Joshua into the supervillain known as The Wall.

Spidey Super Stories #8[]

The Wall attended a baseball game where he entered the playing field. He began attacking players on the field, as well as an umpire, who he knocked out. Spiderman, who was also in attendance, noticed this and began to fight back against the Wall. Spiderman's attacks were ineffective as when he tried to throw himself against the Wall's body, he bounced off of it. Spiderman then uses his webs, which defeats the Wall. Just as he did this, the umpire came to, he kicked both of the men out of the stadium. The two later sat down at a bench outside and talked out their differences.

Powers and Abilities[]

Wall Physiology: The Wall's body being made of bricks allows him to have superhuman strength, as evidenced when he was able to easily knock people to the ground by hitting them with his side. He also have superhuman durability, as seen when Spiderman bounced off of him when trying to throw his body against the Wall.
- Superhuman Strength: He has the strength and durability of concrete.
- Superhuman Durability: He was able to shrug off Spider-Man's blows, without taking any damage.
- Superhuman Speed: The Wall can run faster than the average wall.

The Wall was depicted in both a live-action telling of the events as well as a comic version.
The Wall also makes an appearance in Marvel Strike Force.
