The Westside Ripper, otherwise known as The Night Ripper, is the main antagonist in the 2017 survival horror game The Night Ripper. He is a psychotic serial killer who hates women, specifically those that work as prostitutes.
Biography[]
In the 1980's, Rachel is about to leave the diner she works at, when her co-worker warns her that The Westside Ripper is still out in the streets. She knows that The Westside Ripper only kills prostitutes so, ignoring his warnings, she heads into the dark, dangerous streets of New York. While walking, she notices the path has been blocked off because another murder happened. After going through some alleys, she spots a black sedan roaming around (If the player stands in front, the Westside Ripper will come out and attempt to kill her) and knows that The Ripper drives a black sedan. The Westside Ripper assumes her as a prostitute and goes after her.
Taking a shortcut in a crack den, The Ripper breaks a window and climbs in, starting the game of cat-and-mouse. Eventually, Rachel escapes through the roof and walks upon some planks connected to buildings. She accidentally drops her purse and decides to leave it behind. After going through another building, she finds the exit and entrance to the subway.
After making it through the subway, she ends up in the final level and her home: The slums. She warns a prostitute about how The Ripper is coming, but the prostitute tells her to go away as she believes her to be another prostitute, not wanting to lose any potential business. She makes it home, but the door is locked. She finds a payphone and tries to call her roommate but was lacking the required two pennies. She explores and discovers the corpse of the prostitute she had encountered while looking for some pennies. She then finally finds two pennies and proceeds to call her roommate, who unlocks the door and lets Rachel in. Rachel finally relaxes by watching television, to which the credits roll.
When the credits end, she hears someone breaking into the house, and making duck noises.
Appearance[]
The Westside Ripper wears a long black coat, gloves, hat and a duck mask. He wields a flashlight and switchblade.
