Thomas is a minor antagonist in the manga, light novel and anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. He was a bulter for the Boreas family who was later on revealed to be a traitor for trying kidnap Eris Greyrat while pretending Rudeus Greyrat to help him for his fake kidnapping lesson.
Biography[]
After first meeting her cousin Eris Greyrat, Rudeus is assigned to find a way to help her study. Rudeus suggests to his father's uncle Philip Greyrat to plan on a show while Thomas the butler is listening by their side.
At night, while Rudeus is sleeping, he was placed into a large crate in an old room with Eris asleep in another crate. Once Eris woke up, she screams at the door for her mentor Ghislaine for help. A man then brutally opens the door which knocks Eris to the floor. Eris continues to act in an arrogant way to the men who then kicks her against the wall. Eris tries to fight back but the man dodges and throws her away by pulling her hair. He starts stomping on Eris repeatedly while Rudeus who is still thinking that the men is acting.
Rudeus then feels something is off with all of the situation and decides to escape after having a small dispute with Eris. A while after having escape the place, the cousins goes on a chariot and arrives at a village where they confront Thomas. Glad to see the butler, Rudeus runs toward the men with Eris following behind before immediately getting kidnapped by another man. Rudeus follows the kidnapper and uses stone magic to generate a wall to block the kidnapper who is revealed to be the earlier man that assaultled Eris in the room who is with another men. The kidnapper uses Eris as an assault. Rudeus tells him to let go of her.
Thomas arrives behind him, revealing his true intentions and suggests Rudeus to join his side seeing he is good at using fire magic that he will receive a certain amount of money. Rudeus asks him how much and is answered with 100 gold coins that it is more than enough to pay for 10 peoples' admission at Magic University.
He also reveals his reason for betraying Rudeus and that he will suffer as much as he will. Rudeus refuses and sends his fire magic towards the sky, causing a firework that blinds Thomas and his men. Rudeus rushes towards the kidnappers and sends a few stone projectiles at them. The men cuts the projectile with his sword but gets blinded again by smoke caused by Rudeus before getting heavly hit by Rudeus' magic, causing him to drop Eris.
Rudeus catches Eris and launches to the sky while firing a few attack the men. Rudeus however is caught off guard when the men throws his sword at Rudeus. A split second later the sword is destroyed and the two men and instantly beheaded by Ghislaine who saw Rudeus' firework. Thomas is frightened by the scene. Later on, Ghislaine brings back Rudeus and Eris home while Thomas was imprisoned for his kidnapping plot.
