Thomas Prescott is the overarching antagonist of the 2015 creepypasta/novella Borrasca and its sequel Borrasca V.
He is the founder of the human trafficking operation in Drisking, Missouri and also Jimmy Prescott's father, which also makes him the real responsible behind all the atrocities committed by his son James, Sheriff Walker and Sheriff Killian Clery.
Biography[]
According to his son James, he was a miner from Drisking, Missouri, until one day the mine containing iron ore ran out, making the town unprofitable, so they filled the mine with explosives to collapse it, however The explosives would accidentally break, falling into the water and causing it to become contaminated and most of the people would become infertile.
However, Thomas came up with the idea of impregnating women from other places and fertilizing them. After selling his eldest son, he realized the profits that this would give him, so he sold most of the babies that were born. to rich families, which gave rise to a human trafficking operation that would be the main source of income for the city, as well as several atrocious acts that would be committed because of them.
Due to his old age, he became senile, which would cause his son James to take control of the operation, Thomas was sent to a nursing home where he remained there for the rest of his life.
Borrasca[]
While investigating the mysteries of Drisking, Sam, Kyle, and Kimber went to the nursing home where Thomas was living to question him. Pretending to be relatives to gain access to him, they asked him questions about the Borrasca legend. Because of his dementia, Thomas believed the lie and answered their questions. They were unable to get much useful information out of him, however, due to his addled mental state. His answers were technically honest but disjointed and erratic, and he grew increasingly agitated as the conversation continued, angrily railing against his son Jimmy and demanding to speak to him. Eventually, Thomas' anger escalated to the point where the three teens had to leave.
Thomas is not seen again after this. Given his advanced age and poor health, it is almost certain that he died in hospice not long after, several years before the Borrasca conspiracy was exposed.
