Thorak is a minor antagonist of The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings appearing exclusively in Iorveth's path. He is a dwarven blacksmith living in Vergen who has usurped his master to take his place.
Biography[]
Thorak is a Vergen dweller lying in the Pontar Valley. He was apprenticed to the runesmith Baltimor, who was also a dwarf living on Vergen, however Thorak was jealous of his master's skills, so Thorak and his dwarven companions murdered their master Baltimor and then disposed of the body to make them think Baltimor was lost, becoming his surrogate. After being appointed as the new rune, Vergen got a request from Father Olcan to make a copy of Saskia's chalice that defended Vergen.
