Just saw your PE proposal, where you mentioned you finished a story for the Halloween. I'm a writer myself, and I would be happy to get a look at your story. I might not review it on the spot, but I want to read it. Is it a horror story?
"The story focuses on Reinhardt Hitzlsperger, the teenage boy from Dresden, Germany. In the city of Dresden, it was rather notorious for the forest in the Eastern Part of the town in which several people went missing including Reinhardt's friend, Heinrich (Better known as Heine). Despite being haunted by his own past, it's up to Reinhardt to save Heine from harm's way and defeat his dark past"
I thought you'll say something like "alright cool. Thanks for telling me", "cool to hear", "take your time", "i'll check it", "I might check it eventually" or "it's fine. Take a look whenever you can". Saying just "alright", without anything else on the side, is like an apple pie without a cop of coffee/tea/hot cocoa. It's blank, and should be used only when you really and truly see no way to respond/changing the topic.
Ah sorry if you felt that way! Part of me saying that is because of the laziness that I had or old habits die hard :P That and I'm not sure how to respond to conversation if I have an interest actually.
Not sure about "if I have an interest actually", but just saw you reply on my blog, and thanks :-). By "I'm not sure if I'm going to be the judge here or not", you mean you're abstain? It's perfectly fine.
Also, I've read a bit of your story. Reinhard reminds me of Dane's backstory. Hope Heinrich will keep him okay before he'll kill some jocks, even though these jocks are assholes. For some reason, Heinrich's appearance reminds me of Chris Griffin. Looking forward to find more time and get to the urban legends things. Will Reinhard get a hold on magic?
I feel you pain in regard to TV Tropes. These people can be so militant. And what makes them worse is that many of their interpretations are as if they never even watched the thing they were meant to talk about. They don't understand why Lewis Dodgson and Sofia Lamb are pure evil, see Charlie Walker as less vile than Debbie Loomis and Jamal Elliot (it's obviously the other way around. When it comes to being evil, Jamal<Debbie<Charlie), and that's just to name a few.
I dont remember if I told you, but episode 5 of "Villains Rap Battles" will feature Indominus rex vs Sharptooth. Do you have an a-priori favorite? Of course you should read it all, and then decide, regardless of reason, but I would like to know if you have an a-priori favorite on that one.
