  • Hi Jester ! I saw on your favorite villains Frollo is on the top 10. According to you, did Frollo knew what he did was evil at the bottom or he's so blinded by his delusions that he genuinely believed he was a good person? Me, I think that he knew what he did was wrong because of his sadism notably but you, what do you think?

    • Howdy, he's in my top 10 Disney but not sure overall of all villains. I think he knew he was sinning but also delusional to a major degree as he continually tried to reassure himself he wasn't evil like after killing Quasimodo's mom and called out but more notably Hellfire. That said it doesn't even remotely excuse his actions or downplay them but if anything makes him worse.

    • Don't remeber if he was on your top 10 overall villains but if my memory is good, Oogie Boogie is second.

    • Me, even if I have not a Top 10 yet, my favorites villains are Tai Lung, Maestro Forte, AUTO and Thanos (MCU).

    • Oogie was fun but don't think he's that high on overall or second even Disney. That said you list so far is good.

    • Why I like them it is because they don't commit their evil acts for the sake of being evil, which make them three dimensional characters (a bit like Frollo but much less worse)

    • Speaking of Frollo, do you think he is a coward? Because in the category coward, he is listed as an example but I don't remember him being so cowardly (not at Scar's level). He showed fear 2 times, but it was a bit understandable according to me

    • A bit as he is ruled by fear and does a lot like adopting Quasimodo solely outcof fear for his soul.

    • Okok your reasoning seems good.

    • Speaking of Quasimodo, do you think Frollo developped a bit of affection for him and he was blinded by his rage when he told him : "I am going to do what I've should've done twenty yeas ago'" or he always hated Quasimodo and his caring of Quasimodo was only his fear of damnation? Me, I am not sure.

    • It always came across as just a fear of damnation given he abused/mistreated Quasimodo all that time.
