  • Okay, it seems you're really confused as to the Animator vs. Animation storyline and everything.

The Chosen One and Dark Lord caused mass destruction online, but they haven't caused any genocide or cataclysm. The Dark Lord developed ViraBot to do so, but it hasn't happened yet. The scene where the Chosen One is envisioning the Dark Lord with its ViraBot army is it thinking about what will occur if the Dark Lord succeeds with ViraBot. These things have not happened yet.

Additionally, as the shorts are still ongoing, we don't know if the Chosen One is the main protagonist or if that role is staying with the Second Coming. We need to wait and see.

Third, the Second Coming is NOT the Chosen One. He has the same abilities and is more or less a reincarnation, but because the Chosen One is still alive, they are two different characters.

Again, I think you're just confused. Hope this helps clarify things.

    • "The Chosen One and Dark Lord caused mass destruction online, but they haven't caused any genocide or cataclysm."

Still, it's implied the two did a lot of murdering, looking at the screams and the final picture, with TDL choking the Tankman.

"The scene where the Chosen One is envisioning the Dark Lord with its ViraBot army is it thinking about what will occur if the Dark Lord succeeds with ViraBot. These things have not happened yet."

Yeah, but TCO had sticks getting killed in his thoughts for a reason. Maybe he knew TDL would go this far?

"Additionally, as the shorts are still ongoing, we don't know if the Chosen One is the main protagonist or if that role is staying with the Second Coming. We need to wait and see."

2 out of 3 episodes revolve around TCO. Plus, it's already revealed that Episode 4 will most likely focus on his beating the shit out of TDL.

"Third, the Second Coming is NOT the Chosen One. He has the same abilities and is more or less a reincarnation, but because the Chosen One is still alive, they are two different characters."

They are still connected. Plus, TCO making TDL join him is the reason why Computer 1 exploded, leading to Alan getting Computer 2, which would eventually lead to the Second Coming's creation.

Also, I have a theory about the Second Coming, and how it was supposed to foreshadow The Chosen One returning, and possibly redeeming itself (the story goes in this direction), and not outright be a reborn Chosen One, but that's irrelevant and wanted to share it.

    • Right. But we don’t know all the details yet; we need to wait. There hasn’t been any genocide YET. It could happen, and we could list ATTEMPTED genocide as crimes, but it hasn’t happened yet. And we just need to wait to see if TCO is the true main protagonist. So let’s just wait until we have more detail.

    • Ok. But you can't really deny that mass murder is heavily implied by the last two images, especially by the Newgrounds one. I mean, a rabbit-thing just lays there lifeless.

    • Well, what makes me reluctant to put murder is that

      1. All of the victims are AI, so they’re not really alive

      2. AvA has a habit that all of its “dead” characters are brought back as soon as the computer/website is fixed. Because of this, it’s hard to determine the fallout of the rampages through the internet, as most if not all of those who were “killed” were likely just reloaded. (Like we see happen to YouTube).

    • Yeah,I guess. But even if they were brought back, he murdered them at least once. A similiar situation to William Afton - They both murdered some people, they just came back.

    • That’s true. Though I still don’t if we should call it murder if the programs aren’t alive. It’s malicious programming attacking online data; it’s more hacking than murder.

And also, that map in TDL’s room is where it PLANS to send ViraBot. So far it’s only made one and tested it on the Animator’s computer.

    • Many, if not all programs, have moral agency, and have as much emotions as humans, best seen with the Second Coming.

    • Yeah, I guess that's fair. They're sentient, so I guess mass murder would pass.

    • btw, do you think The Dark Lord and the Killer Bunny are PE?

        Loading editor
    • No for the Killer Bunny; offscreen villainy and too enigmatic.

The Dark Lord... maybe? It hasn’t done enough to pass the heinous standard yet, but if it gets worse in future installments, an argument could be made for its qualification.
