This is an important message that I want to send to the big names of the four wikis I'm affiliated with: Kitty from Heroes wiki, Jester of Chaos from Villains wiki, Imperfect from the My Little Pony Generation 4 wiki, and Lola from the Disney wiki:
I'm Christian/Catholic (in my country, unlike the U.S.A., there's no difference between the two).
And I tend to take my faith to heart.
This has recently caused trouble in another wiki (that shall go unmentioned). It also caused a great deal of trouble in the MLP G4 wiki.
It's a dichotomy: on the one hand, I want to stay out of trouble as much as possible. I bear no will towards anyone on your respective wikis, nor do I bear any ill will towards the four of you.
But on the other hand, faith and reiligion tends to be a hot button issue for me, so it's kind of hard to keep my cool when that particular subject is involved.
So, I'm letting the air out and getting this outta my chest: I'm very sensitive when it comes to the topic of faith and religion. Anything that seems offensive towards Christians or Catholics touches a nerve with me.
What I'm saying with this message is this: I will try to keep my cool around the subject of faith and religion. I will do my best to not let my temper get the better of me when that subject comes up.
But it won't be easy. It won't, and I'm telling it to you upfront.
That being said, I don't want this particular subject to drive a wedge between me and the four of you, or between me and the users of the MLP G4 wiki or the users of the Heroes wiki or the users of the Villains wiki or the users of the Disney wiki.
I want to keep things polite and friendly with them, and with the four of you.
So what I'm asking you is this: if the subject ever comes up, know that I'm sensitive around it, but I will still do my best to keep my cool.
