Can Dante Alighieri from Dante's Inferno be qualified as a villain? He has committed many sins during Crusades, such as committing an adultery by sleeping with the slave girl, impersonating his father, Alighiero by drinking between two women, committing a genocide on the Muslim prisoners he kept and labelled as "heretics" and "infidels" by being fanatical, causing one of them to kill him, and later both Alighiero and Beatrice, and condemning Francesco to his death, thus betraying Beatrice, and he has the choice to absolve demons and/or damned souls, which increase his holy gauge, and/or punish them which increase his unholy gauge.
