Well, I think I have to ask someone who just watch it for the first time. To know what kind of villain (main, secondary, tertiary,...) he serves as in the show (despite of being the Bigger Bad and never a minor villain no matter what). If he appeared multilate (sorry for my grammar) times as Sidious (30 episodes onwards) or have been realized as Palpatine from the early seasons then he is the main (along with Dooku, sure). Thanks.
