The Three Fingers is a major antagonist in the 2022 RPG-Action Dark Fantasy video game Elden Ring. It is a mysterious entity that serves as the envoy for the Frenzied Flame.
Unlike its counterpart, the Two Fingers, the main purpose of the Three Fingers is to imbue a host the power of the Frenzied Flame Curse so that they will become the Lord of Chaos and engulf the world in flames, destroying all that the Greater Will has created and revert the world to the primal-state of chaos.
Appearance[]
The Three Fingers is an entity that takes on the form of a vaguely-shaped humanoid hand. Similar to the Two Fingers, it has three-finger finger-like appendages. As the Three Fingers embody the curse of the Frenzied Flame, it appears to be smoldering and burning.
History[]
When the Tarnished encounters Shabriri in the Mountaintops of the Giants, he will advise them to seek out the Three Fingers in the depths of the royal capital of Leyndell. It can be located at the very bottom of the Subterranean Shunning Grounds behind an illusionary wall that is located at the back of the Cathedral of the Forsaken. There is a door that leads to a small chamber where the Three Fingers resides, however, it can only be opened if the player removes all clothes/armor from their character.
Once they enter the small chamber, the Three Fingers will imbue them with the curse of the Flame of Frenzy before fading away, having served its purpose. Consequently, this will cause the Tarnished's finger maiden Melina to abandon them, as she see that they are no longer fit for her to serve any longer.
