Thunder's Nemesis is a major antagonist in Dragons: The Nine Realms, serving as the main antagonist of Season 2.
He is a Titan Wing Skrill responsible for getting Thunder separated from his family.
Biography[]
At an unknown time before the Dragon Club discovered the Hidden World, Thunder lived happily with his family in the Hidden World until he got separated after his family were driven away by a Titan Wing Skrill, Thunder deeply held on a grudge on the Skrill.
Later, Thunder, his rider Tom Kullersen, and other members of the Dragon Club came across this Skrill, where Thunder brutally attacked it as revenge for separating him from his family. After many fails, Thunder, with the help of Tom and his silver rod, eventually defeated the larger lightning dragon. It later escaped through a hole in the silver crystals that lead to a whole new realm: the Fire Realm.
Appearance[]
Thunder's Nemesis appeared as a Titan Wing Skrill. He looks similar to the Frozen Skrill with also similar colors, but he is much bigger since he is a Titan Wing.
Personality[]
Typical of his species, Thunder's Nemesis is extremely aggressive, and will attack anyone who intrudes onto his domain. He is highly determined and vengeful, as seen when he relentlessly chased Thunder and the Dragon Club through his maze despite their attempts to leave his territory. Despite his aggressiveness, the Skrill seems to understand when he’s defeated in a fight, because after Thunder bested and wounded him in battle, instead of continuing to fight, he simply retreated into another section of the Hidden World.
Trivia[]
- Thunder's Nemesis is similar to his Thunder's ancestor: Toothless which his Nemesis: a Whispering Death, they're the hated enemies of the main dragon Protogonists, way larger than them and got defeated by them after the latter received the aid of their human friends.
- The Titan Wing Skrill may have given Thunder's father the scar on his shoulder after droving them away from their home and separating Thunder from his family.
