Thunder is a major antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman being one of the two primary antagonists of the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament Arc alongside his ally Lightning.

Biography

Past

Thunder was the son of a Justice Chojin mother and an Evil-Time Chojin father and was conceived when the latter kidnapped and raped the former. When Thunder started to show physical similarities to his father down to the horn that would allow Thunder to travel through time, his mother would run away from home. Thunder's grandmother would explain his conception and what the horn was to Thunder, causing him to run away from home so his mother would return to the home that was safe.

Thunder would wander the world and would join the Avenir Clan, a clan of Justice-Time Chojin. While there, Thunder would meet his friend and ally, Lightning. Lightning would grow dissatisfied with the Avenir Clan with him lacking any family or friends in the clan aside from Thunder and would suggest that the two of them kill all of the Avenir Clan before travelling back in time to kill the Idol Chojin to mark their place in history. Thunder, under duress over the trauma of his mother, would agree to help his friend.

After genociding the Avenir Clan until only they and Chaos Avenir were the only Time Chojin left, the two would break off their horns and use them to travel back to the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament that Kinnikuman and Terryman won to get the bulbs attached to the bottom of the trophy which would turn them into Complete Chojin.

Kinnikuman Nisei

Pre-Tournament

After travelling back in time to the tournament's conclusion, the two would assault all of the Idol Chojin who were all tired from the tournament and kill Robin Mask, altering history to the point that Kevin Mask no longer existed. This was prevented when Next Generation travelled back in time to stop this from happening, however, Kevin Mask's mother Alisa Mackintosh would accidentally take Robin Mask's place and was given a critical injury when Mantaro Kinniku accidentally bumped into her while saving Robin Mask. Thunder and Lightning would use this to convince the Idol Chojin that the Next Generation were also Evil-Time Chojin.

When Kinnikuman and Terryman tried to pull the trophy out of the ground, it wouldn't come free like it did before Thunder and Lightning changed history, the two would explain to the Idol Chojin that because of the changes to history, the trophy no longer saw Kinnikuman and Terryman as the strongest tag team so Lightning would suggest another Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament be held. Meanwhile, Thunder would try to pull the trophy himself but would be injured by the trophy as retribution for harming an innocent woman and would be forced to agree to fight in the tournament.

Before the tournament started, in order to thin out the competition from outsiders, Thunder and Lightning would wait at the docks for other Chojin would wanted to participate and would kill them all.

Preliminaries

During the preliminary battle royale for the tournament, Thunder and Lightning would kill Master Shuffle with a tag team suplex before killing his partner The Alphabet with the Death Watch Branding, stabbing him through the chest with Lightning's sharpened feet despite the fact he could progress to the next rounds because of his dead partner. Once one more team was defeated, both Thunder and Lightning would move on to the tournament where they were one of the two teams that would skip to the second round by sheer luck.

Reserve Match

When the reserve match to determine a substitute team for the tournament was about to happen, Thunder and Lightning would volunteer, saying that there was nothing in the rules preventing them from doing so, the two doing this so they could kill another Justice Chojin team. Eventually, Geronimo and Brocken Jr. would agree to fight the two.

Thunder and Lightning saw this as the perfect opportunity to kill more members of the Idol Chojin to bring about the perfect world for Evil Chojin like them. In the end, Thunder and Lightning would beat the two with Brocken Jr. losing one of his arms in the process.

Quarter Finals

Before the Quarter Finals began, Thunder and Lightning would choose an elevator with no one in the opposite elevator, instead of going to fight Kinnikuman and Terryman they chose to let their opponents come to them. In the end, Thunder and Lightning would be set to fight against Robin Mask and Terry the Kid.

Finals

After the two were defeated, their bodies started to age rapidly because of their over usage of their time-reversing abilities on their bodies, revealing that to be the reason they wanted to become Complete Chojin so they would never age.

Mantaro and Kevin felt sympathy for the two and threw two pieces of the bulbs into their mouths, however, only Thunder ate his piece with Lightning leaping into the nearby volcano, both as penance and because he had no family to go back to unlike Thunder.

As the Next Generation was travelling back in time, a malfunction almost prevented them from doing so but Thunder used his Exotic Matter to push them through in exchange for his life.

Powers and Abilities

• Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, Thunder has immense strength, speed and durability far above most other Chojin who already have the ability to perform superhuman feats. Other abilities that Chojin have that Volcano likely has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
• Time Manipulation: Being a Time Chojin, Thunder is able to use Exotic Matter that his body naturally produces to manipulate time to a minor extent. Thunder is able to accelerate time by one second and reverse time for his body, healing him of any damage. Thunder is able to break his horn and travel to any point of time but he can only do this once.
• Legendary Destruction Bell: Thunder is able to turn one of his arms into the Legendary Destruction Bell. When rung, everyone around Thunder will be forced to experience every one of their most traumatic memories at the same time.
