Biography[]
Thunderlips is a famous fighter and the wrestling champion of the world. In 1981 he agreed to fight the boxing champion Rocky Balboa in a exhibition match for charity. Even though Rocky was friendly, Thunderlips seemed to be annoyed with Rocky and started to mock him and threaten him constantly. He even scared Rocky's trained Mickey Goldmill, who tried to warn Rocky to back off. When the crowd started to boo him and cheer for Rocky he became angry and started to shout at the crowd and threatened to hurt Rocky badly. Rocky asked him to take a picture together after the match, but this enraged Thunderlips even more and he pushed him back and told him that he is in trouble.
Thunderlips charged at Rocky and started to brutally beat him using punches, knees and wrestling moves. Seeing Rocky overwhelmed, Mickey's heart started to hurt. Thunderlips threw Rocky into the crowd and then started to fight security members. Rocky cut off his gloves and got back into the ring challenging Thunderlips once again. Rocky attacked him with body shots forcing Thunderlips to pull him in the air and start to choke him. Paulie intervened by striking Thunderlips in the back with a chair, which didn't work as Thunderlips knocked Paulie down with a headlock and one punch. However, this distraction gave Rocky the opportunity to jump onto Thunderlips and start to choke him. Rocky continued to punch him and even threw him out of the ring. Thunderlips got back up, but the referee stopped the fight and declared it as a draw. The top boxing contender Clubber Lang who was also present at the stadium walked away disgusted. Thunderlips congratulated Rocky telling him that he was only making a show. Then the two took a picture together along with Rocky's family.
Even though Thunderlips wasn't a real antagonist and had no bad intentions, and did what he did for charity, he was unknowingly partially responsible for causing Mickey's heart problems.
