I've earned my stripes. Call me- Tigress!
~ Tigress

Sheena, also known as Tigress, is a major antagonist of the Netflix original series Carmen Sandiego. She was one of Carmen Sandiego's original classmates, who would later become her enemy.

She was voiced by Kari Wahlgren, who also voiced Charmcaster from the Ben 10 franchise and Star Sapphire from DC Super Hero Girls.

Appearance[]

Sheena appears to be in her early twenties, with white hair and a fair complexion. She usually wears a green suit with orange stripes (which fits with her code name). She also wears thigh-high boots, a mask with glowing eyes and a computer, and gloves with razor-sharp claws.

Personality[]

Tigress is first portrayed to be quite prissy, yet nonetheless cocky and taunting, capable of provoking Carmen throughout her years in V.I.L.E, and looked to have relished calling her names that were rather casual with the rest of her squad. Tigress is still somewhat prissy after college, but she is ruthless, aggressive, and a brilliant field agent, as well as exceedingly narcissistic, egotistical, competitive, and prepared to keep a grudge. She is equally disagreeable to allies and adversaries alike, and if she has a special hate for someone (such as Carmen/Black Sheep), she will go out of her way to ridicule, humiliate, and insult them, wasting vital time in the process. On occasion, she also underestimates her opponents.

In the interactive game, she is not incapable of gratitude, when she was trap in a hole, Carmen helped her, in return, she let Carmen out her confinement.

Biography[]

Past[]

Before the events of the series, Sheena was already a criminal , who was having previously "earned her stripes", but joined V.I.L.E. to become an even better criminal.

When she and Carmen (who was Black Sheep) first met, they did not get along where Tigress tried to steal . After Carmen defected from V.I.L.E., their rivalry grew stronger.

Season 1[]

Tigress first appears in "Becoming Carmen Sandiego" in a flashback. Her first impression on Carmen was an entitled jerk, as she immediately made fun of the nesting dolls that Carmen kept by her bed since she was a child. Tigress made it a point to rub her successes into Carmen's face, such as when she passed Shadowsan's pickpocketing test, and Carmen didn't. This led to Carmen failing class, and Tigress went onto her first caper in Morocco. The goal was to obtain a giant gem, and leave no witnesses. Carmen stowed away and nearly sabotaged the whole mission, stopping Grahame from killing a witness, trying to hurt him for doing so, and hitting Tigress in the face, knocking her over. Carmen was eventually captured by the Cleaners, and Tigress glared at her as she passed out.

Tigress appeared in "The Sticky Rice Caper". When encountering Carmen in Java, she was readying a bioweapon fungus to destroy the rice supply of Indonesia, but was stopped by Carmen's friends as she was too focused on her old rival.

She next appears in San Francisco in "The Lucky Cat Caper", where her and Mime Bomb's role is to help V.I.L.E. get their hands on a stamp worth $10,000,000 that was supposed to go to charity. It was carried around the city in a lucky cat until near the end, where Tigress and Carmen have a showdown on the top of the Golden Gate Bridge. Tigress sticks the stamp into her thigh-high boots and charges at Carmen, attempted to hurt or even kill her. However, Carmen avoids her, grabs the stamp, and gets away.

Season 3[]

In "The Haunted Bayou Caper", Tigress, along with Paper Star, The Troll, and The Cleaners, plan of taking Crawfish King's recipe.

Season 4[]

In "The Egyptian Decryption Caper", Tigress helped Countless Cleo and The Cleaners to find the treasure in the pyramids.

In "The Viennese Waltz Caper",

In "The Dark Red Caper", Tigress is seen being chased by the ACME Agents (who think she is Carmen Sandiego), she was then later seen imprisoned with Coach Brunt, Countless Cleo, and Dr. Saira Bellum.

Abilities[]

As a formidable and skilled fighter all by herself, Tigress was even useful in keeping Carmen off balance and occasionally even managed to outmatch her. She attacks foes with her razor-sharp claws and a lot of gymnastics in an aggressive and forward combat style.

Trivia[]

Tigress 1

Ivy as Tigress

  • Tigress is based on a character from the Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? cartoon. However, on that show, she turned out to be merely a disguise of Ivy to fool Carmen Sandiego. On the Netflix show, the two are completely separate characters.
