Your essence belongs to me, just like the Gates that you have opened! It will open the way for me to thousands of worlds that have no heroes to guard them.
~ Titan revealing his plan to take over the multiverse.
Your world teeters on the edge of the abyss, Shadow, unaware that its fate was already decided: it's destined to become the flesh and blood of the new empire! After you fall, I will give you some time to see the finale of that world and the birth of the new one. Sheer, wild, endless. My world!
~ Titan before the final battle with Shadow.

Titan is the main antagonist of the Shadow Fight franchise, serving as the main antagonist of Shadow Fight 2 and the overarching antagonist of its sequels.

He is an intergalactic alien conqueror who conquered countless worlds and plans to conquer the Human World. His method of conquest is brainwashing the inhabitants to conquer worlds. Upon arriving to the Shadow World, however, he faced an obstacle, the race of Ancients who had will strong enough to resist his control. Unable to control them, Titan slaughtered them all except one, which cost him his army.

Seeking to conquer the human world next, Titan subjugated six warriors from this world and turned them into the Shadow Demon Hosts to act as his puppets in enslaving the human world. Unable to get out of the Shadow World himself, Titan needed a person with strong enough willpower to overcome the corruption of Shadow Energy, which will give him the ability to walk between worlds using the Gates of Shadows, and then take this power for himself. After many experiments, one person would not only survive the strongest Shadow Energy Emissions, but also retain his mind and will: Shadow. He is the first archenemy of Shadow.

Appearance[]

Titan is a giant, bald man who is clad in a gilded black armor with electrical cables built into his body.

Personality[]

You think I'm the monster? You haven't seen what Titan does to his enemies... I have, and it sickens even me.
~ Butcher on Titan.

Titan is a very cunning and arrogant person, with immense knowledge about the universe and worlds, and is also sadistic as he grins after kidnapping May and brutally beating up Shadow. His immense powers and vile actions led to him being feared and hated by many beings, including Shadow Demon Hosts, with even Butcher, who is a ruthless social darwinist who kidnaps children and trains them to be cruel, saying that Titan's actions are disgusting.

Biography[]

You tempt Titan with your meddling! We don't know where he came from, only that he is... different. He creates strange things to serve him...
~ Wasp about Titan.

Nothing is known about Titan's past, except that he is an alien who conquered countless worlds. His method of conquest is brainwashing the inhabitants into his loyal soldiers. He conquered many worlds this way, with the survivors going into hiding in the Shadow World.

Arriving into Shadow World, Titan faced the race of Ancients, creatures with strong enough willpower to resist his powers. Unable to brainwash them, he ordered them to be exterminated, which resulted in the loss of his army and their almost complete extinction, with only one surviving and going into hiding, killing Titan's soldiers who arrive to kill him and turning them into the guardians of the Stone Grove. Many strong heroes from different worlds found the Ancient, willing to stop Titan but latter being brainwashed by him and forced to conquer their own homeworlds. One of those was Shroud, Ancient's apprentice who was thought to be the long-awaited liberator, but instead became Titan's best fighter. This caused Ancient to lose any hope whatsoever, now hiding in the Stone Grove. Titan also experimented on the mysterious Shadow Energy of this world, using his prisoners as guinea pigs and turning them into Scavengers, mutated abominations who became addicted to Shadow Energy to the point it serves as a food and dope for them.

Titan then sought to conquer the Human World, however, destruction of Ancients made him lose his army. He then created the Gates of Shadows, a portal to the human world, and subjugated Earth's six greatest warriors (Lynx, Hermit, Butcher, Wasp, Widow and Shogun), pulled and trapped them in the Shadow World, turning them into the Hosts of Shadow Demons who will act as the guardians of the Seals that can open the Gates and as his puppets in conquering the world. He also created the Incubator to produce artificial soldiers.

Titan himself cannot leave from Shadow World because one can not survive the Gates of Shadows with a physical body. He needs a person with a will strong enough to resist Shadow Energy's corruption of mind and will. Said person will be able to walk between worlds using the Gates of Shadows and Titan will take this power for himself. After many experiments, an arrogant warrior known as Shadow opened the Gates in a search of worthy opponent, releasing the Shadow Demon Hosts and losing his body and soul, but retaining his mind and will. Meanwhile Shadow's alternate reality counterparts would become corrupted by Shadow Energy instead, killing one of the Shadow Demon Hosts and taking their role, and later becoming Titan's bodyguards.

Shadow Fight 2[]

Act VI: Iron Reign[]

After Shadow and his companion May opened the Gates of Shadows in the former quest's to regain his body, Titan unleashed a force wave to drag safely drag May into the Shadow World, before the Gates are closed. He then brainwashed her and turned her into his right-hand under the codename "Justice".

Interlude[]

Willing to save May, Shadow and his companions (his Sensei and a conman Sly) try to open the Gates again, fighting against the Demon Hosts and breaking their Seals. Titan is mentioned by each of the Demon Hosts, who try to stop Shadow from unleashing Titan and warn him about Titan's motives and powers.

Act VII: Revelation[]

After Shadow arrived into Shadow World, Titan sent Shroud to bring him to him. Shroud almost defeats Shadow, but is briefly stunned by Kali, a survivor from one of the worlds Titan conquered, who then took Shadow to the hideout where she and other survivors hide from Titan. He then orders Justice to take Shadow to him, but she also fails after the Hideout's leader, Cypher, locks her. After witnessing what Titan did to May, Shadow, disguised as one of his soldiers by Ancient, proceeds to confront Titan in his Citadel.

His cover is blown when Scavengers attack Shadow, smelling the Shadow Energy his body is made of. Knowing Shadow will arrive, Titan greets him and Kali, explaining that Shadow is a succeeded experiment and that everything he has done went exactly as he planned. Titan then introduced him to his alternate reality variants, pitting them against Shadow to show him what would've happened if he let Shadow Energy possess him.

After Shadow defeats them, Titan admits that he was impressed by Shadow defeating his dark halves. To test Shadow's powers again, he pits him against May, who has escaped from the Hideout.

Shadow then confronts Titan, with the latter goading that after Shadow loses he will let him live only long enough to witness his vast empire. After a challenging fight, Shadow defeats Titan, who falls to his knees and dies in an explosion that returns Shadow's body back to normal and destroys the Gates of Shadows, where May awaits him.

Legacy[]

Despite Titan's death, his actions, including the creation of Gates of Shadows, left a massive impact that changed Shadow's world forever.

Shadow Energy released by the Gates became an everyday currency and resource in everyone's life. People use it to upgrade their equipments, enter the Shadow Form as well as many other uses. Following the Gates' destruction, Shadow Energy also formed the sentient core which followed Shadow and May, known as the Shadow Mind.

Shadow and May lived a happy and peaceful life together, but everything changed when May became pregnant and Shadow realized she is carrying Shadow Mind. Shadow tried to destroy it, but to no avail. To protect May, the entity summoned Shadow Beasts, but they also killed or possessed countless people, making Shadow mass slaughter them across the land. Shadow, together with May, traveled to distant lands in order to find a way to destroy Shadow Mind, and stumbled upon a kingdom called Legion. When Shadow arrived here, the King of the Legion started following his percepts and formed a strong faith in light, which made kingdom flourish. Legion's people also inherited Shadow's hatred of Shadow Energy, turning Legion into a militaristic faction that aims to destroy all of the Shadow Energy in the world. On one fateful night known as the Night of the Scourge, Shadow Mind summoned countless swarms of Shadow Beasts as a last attempt to save May and Shadow's Descendant. Shadow slaughtered every single beast, but in his rage, accidentally slaughtered May and the Descendant, with the Shadow Mind still surviving the massacre.

Blinded by rage and grief, Shadow vowed to destroy it, and became the new ruler of Legion after the King sacrificed himself in order to save the kingdom and after Shadow brought one of King's daughters, Moira, to a distant island to save her. His reign caused many Legionaries to rebel, but they were banished to North and became known as Northerners. Shadow tried to destroy Shadow Mind for many years, but failed. In his search for Legendary Shadow Sword, he and Night Warriors, his strongest Legionary Warriors, stumbled upon the neighboring nation of Dynasty. After seeing the battle between one of his Night Warriors and the Dynasty Prince, in which the latter emerged victorious, Shadow realized that this skillful country can help him destroy Shadow Mind, but all that he could do is to split it from newborn Descendant and imprison inside a glass Sphere, killing Shadow's Son in the process. Shadow and the dynasts built the Sphere Temple to hold the Sphere's forces here, with the Prince becoming the next Emperor and The First Arrow/Arrow of Peace, one of the three people Shadow chose to protect the world from Sphere's powers. Shadow Mind asked many to release him from the Sphere, and this opportunity became real after Galen, Shadow's disciple and Emperor's bodyguard, detained a thief who wanted to sell the Sphere. Shocked by the power Sphere gave to him, Galen told about it to Emperor, which made Dynasty use Shadow Energy, causing Shadow and the whole Legion to become their enemy. After this, Galen became the Second Arrow, also known as Arrow of Power.

Shortly after, Dynasty's Shadow Weapon Blacksmith called Bolo detained a weird-looking Stranger from the crypt after the former tried to learn the power of Shadow. The Stranger confessed that he is Bolo from future, and pointed at May's Grave that soaks with Shadow Energy, which is actually a portal through time. He also told Bolo about Shadow Mind's powers: It cannot be destroyed but it can recreate the whole world from scratch. Bolo told this to Shadow, and the latter lost all interest in the Sphere, instead travelling through portal into the future and find a way to destroy the world and create the world where May will be alive. Meanwhile Bolo became the Third Arrow/Arrow of Knowledge and created the faction of Heralds after finding May's incorporeal voice using Stranger's information and decoding her messages by creating the Void Room, which is created from the void that is trapped between thinniest walls of Shadow Energy.

It was thought that Shadow's Descendant was dead before he was born, however, he was saved by May's spirit, who brought him to the Shadow World. Descendant, however, was somehow separated from the Shadow World, existing in the human world only as an insignificant probability of his own existence. In an attempt to return to his homeworld, and to take revenge on his father, Descendant became a time traveler under the alias of "Stranger". He manipulated Bolo, a Dynasty Shadowsmith, into making him believe he is Bolo from future and telling him about Shadow Mind's powers, which Bolo told to Shadow. This made Shadow abandon his former goals to destroy the Shadow Mind, instead making him destroy the world using The Accelerator, so the Descendant will surprass Shadow in side worlds.

Statues of Titan are also built in Falcon's Gorge and Shadow Island by unknown people. The first statue is located near the Legion mountains, with many anomalies occuring here, which is used by some cults as an opportunity to worship Titan. In Marcus's Plane, those statues are known as the Twin Heads, and are connected by the Bridge-Between, a mysterious realm located between worlds where Light and Darkness are locked in a fight with no one knowing who will win.
