Toki Asuma is an antagonist in the 2021 roleplay RPG game Blue Archive, serving as the supporting antagonist in Clockwork Flower Pavane.
She is Rio Tsukatsuki's bodyguard and is the latest agents in the Cleaning & Clearing school club.
She is voiced by Yui Ishikawa.
Personality[]
Toki's demeanor consistently reflects seriousness and emotional detachment, a characteristic befitting Rio's bodyguard. She maintains composure even in high-pressure situations and swiftly comprehends the dynamics at play.
Himari once revealed that Toki's emotional aloofness stemmed in part from Rio's deliberate isolation of her from social interactions. During Rio's absence from Millennium, Toki briefly associated with C&C but eventually withdrew. According to Himari, Toki's departure was motivated by her belief that she couldn't lead a normal life without the one person who truly understood her. Without Rio, Toki felt compelled to prove her worth by being of service to others.
Biography[]
Toki, renowned as Rio's clandestine protector, was often assigned covert missions directly from Rio herself. Among these missions was the task of intercepting Himari during her escape from Rio's grasp. Accompanying Rio and Alice to Eridu, Toki assumed the responsibility of keeping Sensei, the Game Development Department, and Neru under her watchful eye. While the C&C worked tirelessly to rescue Alice, Toki bravely confronted them, shouldering Rio's orders.
As the odds increasingly stacked against Toki, Rio deployed their final ace – Abi-Eshufu, an advanced powered suit engineered to effortlessly neutralize or evade incoming projectiles. This technological marvel harnessed the tremendous energy and computational capabilities of Eridu.
However, like any creation, Toki's formidable suit possessed its own vulnerabilities. The astute gang meticulously observed and exploited these weaknesses at the opportune moment. The decisive battle reached its culmination as Neru delivered the finishing blows to Toki and her formidable suit.
With Rio's abrupt departure, Toki found herself without a master to serve. Subsequently, she made the decision to align herself with C&C. While Neru harbored reservations, Toki was embraced into their ranks.
