~ One of Tom Rivas' several last words. |
"French" Tom Rivas (1982 - April 2008) is a minor antagonist in the 2008 video game, Grand Theft Auto IV. He is the homosexual cousin of mechanic and drug trafficker, Lyle Rivas, who also owed money to Brucie Kibbutz.
He was voiced by Marc Rodriguez.
Biography[]
Tom Rivas was born on 1982 in Puerto Rico, along with his cousin, Lyle. When he grew older, he moved to Broker, Liberty and came out as gay. He was given the nickname of "French Tom" after he used it for his user name on Love-Meet.net.
Around 2008, Tom owed a large amount of money to Brucie Kibbutz, in which Brucie ordered Niko Bellic to have a date with Tom in order to kill him. After Tom excepts the date, they meet at the 69th Street Diner. If the player waits for a while, Tom will comment on night club owner, Gay Tony, and after this he will run away if Niko judges him to much. If the player pulls out a gun, Tom will run away, and a customer will usually pull out a gun and shoot Niko as well. After either being chased across the streets of Liberty City and getting shot or being killed right inside the diner, Tom is murdered.
