Tom Yannick is the minor antagonist of The Mentalist TV-show. He is a corrupt official, who wants to get a lottery ticket to get a large sum of money. He is played by Jon Curry.
Biography[]
After Wainwright's death, the CBI is removed from the investigation, but is soon restored. However, the FBI is ready to take away the case they are leading. It comes to a fight. Then Gale Bertram and Alexa Schultz decide to join forces. The murder of a young girl, Kelly Carlson, and her colleague Rex Lango is being investigated. Local police officer Tom Yannick comes to the rescue. He helps the CBI interrogate witnesses. At this time, Teresa Lisbon, Reede Smith and Gabe Mancini interrogate the colleagues of the deceased. To keep the FBI out of the way, Patrick Jane slips them a false suspect. It soon turns out that Kelly won a lot of money in the lottery. Her colleague Rex was nearby when she realized she had won. He tried to kill her to take the lottery ticket. She killed him in self-defense. Then police officer Tom Yannick arrived. He saw the lottery ticket, killed Kelly and took the ticket. Tom is arrested.
