The Tombstone Shadow is a tombstone-themed Shadow Monster and the main antagonist in episode 39 of 2014 TV series called Ressha Sentai ToQger.
He is voiced Naoki Tatsuta who previously voiced DD Donmo, a New Year's Org, Poppenian Hymal, Hades Beastman Gaston the Thief, Kawazugami and Zakyura.
History[]
The Tombstone Shadow made his first appearance in Castle Terminal Dungeon as Madame Noir released him on a condition to cause mischief in town in order to cause a huge distraction for her to release Miss Gritta. The reason why he was trapped in that cell because his ability waste darkness not gaining as he was deemed a loose cannon.
Now he made his first appearance in town as he brought back a Bag Shadow the first one that the ToQger fought when they were kidnapped from their hometown. He was spotted on top of a building as he used his Headstone Door to gather in more darkness and brought back a Ring Shadow (the one where they met Akira not to long ago). As he continues to resurrect more fallen Shadow Monster it didn't went unnoticed as both Baron Nero and Marchioness Morc spots him on screen, so with that Morc left the castle to stop the Tombstone Shadow from wasting anymore darkness. Back with the mayhem in town the Tombstone Shadow has brought back a Bucket Shadow (the one with an endless appetite) after that all three resurrected Shadows were destroyed by the team and thankfully they didn't turned into giants because their phantoms, so with that the Tombstone Shadow sits on top of a building to clean himself off after a workout.
After the break the Tombstone Shadow was about resurrect another Shadow Monster, but Morc arrived at the said building where Tombstone Shadow is hiding and stops him. She asked the Tombstone Shadow of who released him as he answered Madame Noir released him. So with this realization she was about to head back to the castle, but was stopped when the Tombstone Shadow was about to resurrect another Shadow Monster, but only this time with another whack from her staff she'd accidentally knocked him off a building down towards the docks as she was dragged with him. Once they touch down to ground he revealed himself to the team and was responsible for resurrecting the shadow monsters (as he resurrected a Bomb Shadow right in front of them), so with that the team transformed and battled the Tombstone Shadow, Morc and the Bomb Shadow. A while later during the fight he plans to resurrect 10 more Shadow Monsters, but the girls stop him as they opened fire at the shadow monster. After that he was about to sacrifice Morc to this finisher called Hyper Five Connection Crash, but she'd tossed him instead as he was brought down for the count.
However with the darkness that he has gathered he manages to enlarge himself prompting the team to bring out ToQ-Oh and Diesel-Oh to battle this giant shadow monster. Now during the fight he used his Headstone Door and resurrected a Pin Spot Shadow, a Jack-in-the-box Shadow and a Fence Shadow as each one of them brought the memories of Akira when they were with them. While they're in deep thought about Akira all three of the resurrected giant shadow monsters opened fire at the mechs. So they regained focus towards the battle that their facing as two of the shadow monsters were then destroyed by this finisher called Car Carrier Tank Shoot and the last one was destroyed from the missiles that it fired. This made the Tombstone Shadow very upset as he can't make anymore giant shadow monsters. Once Hikari summons the Police Ressha they manage to combined both Desiel-Oh and ToQ-Oh along with the Police Ressha to become Cho ToQ-Oh Police and then the Tombstone Shadow was then destroyed by this finisher called Police Cannon.
