Tommy Volker is a villain from the show called The Mentalist. He appeared in a couple episodes as a minor villain who was trying to hide the fact that he killed dozens of people for the sole purpose of trying to steal property. He was caught finally by Teresa Lisbon at a zoo before he attempted to shoot a young kid that was on the run. The name of the episode where he was finally arrested was in "Little Red Corvette".
Biography[]
Tommy opened his own business quite a while ago. He presented himself as a fairly honest and open person to everyone, but underneath that facade was a rather vile and greedy nature. He once ordered the slaughter of an unknown number of people in the Amazon just to build up their residence for his business. His entire arc in the film is dedicated to him trying to clean up witnesses to his terrible crime. For example, he once ordered the death of one of his employees named Horatio Jones for finding out and threatening to expose his crimes. While Horatio was being killed, Volker stood by and watched with pleasure. Later, his henchmen noticed that a little boy named Marvin Pettigrew had witnessed their monstrous crime. They decided to kill him, but one of them took pity on the boy and did not kill him. Later, a journalist named Cassandra Flood threatened to expose his villainy, and Volker arranged for her to get into a car accident, after which he sent his men to finish her off. When his secretary Amanda Shaw, at the insistence of the police, decided to testify against Volker, Volker treated her the same way he once did with Horatio Jones. Later, he ordered the death of his henchman Charles Milk so that he would not give him away. In the shootout, random people died. It was the Millers. Later, he drove his henchman Donald Clyde to suicide. And when he learned that the child (Marvin Pettigrew) was still alive and the police were about to get to him, he tried to kill him personally. However, Teresa Lisbon and Patrick Jane intervened. Volker received a long prison sentence. Even many years after the death of Red John, Volker is mentioned as still serving a prison sentence.
Personality[]
Tommy Volker for awhile proved to clever to be caught but after a few days it caught up with him. Eventually Patrick Jane found that he was slipping and that he wanted Teresa to give up the investigation just because Volker knew that he would possibly be captured anyway. Volker was shown to be a total psychopath, going as far as trying to kill a kid to hide evidence. He was a billionaire and was shown to be a total sociopath around his co-workers whom he treated like crap by filling them with fear.
