| “ | Hi~! My name is Tomy. You seem to be a new face? Let's become close friends. | „ |
| ~ Tomy's introduction. |
| “ | All dogs that covet my food deserve to die! | „ |
| ~ Tomy after tricking the protagonist into receiving a makeshift bomb. |
Tomy is the main antagonist of the mobile puzzle game I Became a Dog. She is a greedy, cold-blooded killer who'll murder as much of her fellow dogs to ensure she gets all the dog food from her owner.
Personality[]
While initially seeming nice and innocent, this is all a front to hide the truth that she's highly manipulative, greedy and psychopathic. Tomy shows no remorse for killing other dogs, in fact, she delights in the fact and holds onto the belief that they deserve death for stealing what she deems rightfully hers. She shows great signs of intellect as she's able to manipulate the protagonist into finding her the ingredients to a bomb and make it herself.
Biography[]
In the beginning of the game, the Protagonist will interact with Tomy, leading her to introduce herself in a friendly matter and request that he do her a favour that involves finding her a rubber ducky to play with. After giving it to her, she'll then request that he find her a medkit since she hurt herself while playing. As the protagonist progresses through the game, they'll find a hidden room behind a cupboard that requires a code to open. In the room is a cage containing a dog named Julia who'll request the player find her missing puppy. Upon finding its carcass in a flower pot and showing it to Julia, she will reveal that Tomy killed her baby while declaring she would "have all the dog food to herself". This is further reinforced by another dog named Chris, who witnessed the events and now hides in his dog kennel to avoid Tomy's wrath.
As the Protagonist finds her the medkit, Tomy will once again be grateful and will request one final thing, that being gasoline.
Ending 1: Death[]
When the protagonist gives her the gasoline, Tomy will thank him and begin preparing him a "gift". If the player accepts the gift, this will result in her calling him naive, before the gift detonates, revealing itself to be a makeshift bomb. She'll proudly stand over the protagonist's dead body and declare all of the dog food will be hers.
Ending 2: Imprisonment[]
If the protagonist goes back to Julia, she will vow to take revenge and urge the player find a key to free her from her cage. Finding the key will lead to her recommending the player to let her go so they can team up against Tomy. If the player frees her, the two will confront Tomy. Before fighting, Tomy will call over another dog named James, resulting in the two easily overpowering your duo. This ends with you both being imprisoned in the cage, as well as James asking Tomy to go on a date with him, which she accepts.
