Tony Loder is a supporting antagonist in the Jack Reacher novel "Die Trying". He was the leader of a trio of kidnappers working for the Montana Militia.

Tony Loder was a childhood friend of Beau Borken, the man who would later appoint himself as the leader of the Montana Militia. Loder would also later join the Montana Militia and was appointed leader of a small group of kidnappers.
Die Trying[]
Loder alongside his two partners, Peter Bell and Stevie Stewart, ambushed FBI agent Holly Johnson and former military policeman Jack Reacher and holds them at gunpoint. They throw Reacher and Holly into a van and drove cross country. When Bell tries to rape Holly, Reacher kills him and hides his body before the others get suspicious. After arriving at their destination, Holly is taken upstairs, intended to be used as leverage to make the U.S. give in to their demands. Meanwhile, Reacher witnesses as Borken betrays and executes Loder in court due to multiple failures.
