Antonio "Tony" Montana is the titular main protagonist of the non-canonical sequel of the film in the form of a comic book Scarface: Scarred for Life. In the comics it turns out that he managed to survive the shooting shown in the finale of the film, but he is heavily injured and lost all his achievements as well as his criminal empire and his wife Elivra.

Recovery[]
After a shootout at his villa, a DEA team is sent there to investigate the place. Two agents, Harley Wabash and Deacon Tooms, inspect the villa. Tooms notices Tony's body and walks over to it. To his surprise, Tony is found alive but badly injured.
Tony was taken to the hospital. While he is in bed, the Agents wake him up and remind him of what happened in his villa. Tony remembers that Sosa is responsible for the attack on him. Harley tells him that Tony will now work with them to catch Sosa, but he tells them he won't work with the feds. Harley tells him that he has to do this because they are his only friends now. Tony remembers how he killed Manny and mentions his mother. Agent Harley suddenly spits at Tony, telling him his mother told them to do it. Tony finally agrees to cooperate.
Tony in a wheelchair is taken to his new dirty apartment by Agent Tooms. Tooms leaves him and Tony says to himself that they "Tryin' to keep Tony Montana down. This is my town". and goes outside.
He spots a pimp who notices him as well. He asks him what he wants, Tony answers what he has, then pimp asks him what he needs. Tony asks him if he has yeo. Pimp tells him he has yeo, scag, greenies, indica, strawberry cough, but Tony takes his yeo and puts some on his finger and puts it in his mouth. Tony spits yeo out and tells the pimp that his yeo is shit. He tells him that he can do better and can do business with him. Pimp hits him, asking who he is, then walks away.
Tony is approached by a man saying you recognize. The man said it was Tony Montana and he thought he was dead. Tony tells him he got it wrong and it wasn't him. The man then tells him he is Boots Eddie. Then Tony says he remembers him and says wrong his name. Then Eddie, upset, says that he misspelled his name and kicks him twice in the face, telling him that he was risking his life for him and Tony isn't recognizing him. Eddie leaves, telling him that he will call his friend who will call Sosa and gonna become rich, and that Tony will sooner or later die. Upon hearing Sosa's name, he goes berserk and takes a colostomy bag and rips it open and begins to strangle Eddie and kills him. Tony declares that he is returning and gonna take over the city, and that no one will get in his way.
Reclaiming criminal empire[]
A few weeks later, he kidnaps T-Long Johnson and kills him because he refused to do business with him. Agents Wabash and Tooms find his body.
Tony heads to a club run by the Diaz Brothers. Tony is led to them by their bodyguard. The Diaz Brothers are very surprised and want to kill him, but one of them tells his brother to let him speak. Tony tells them he wants to destroy Sosa who is rivaling with the Brothers. The brothers are surprised by his decision, but Tony tells him that he must kill Sosa's cocaine merchant, El Gordo. The brothers agree to work with him.
After talking to the Brothers, Tony stops at the motel and calls Elivra, his ex-wife. When Elvira picks up, Tony wants to meet her because he misses her. Elvira tells her not to call her anymore and hangs up quickly. As it turns out, Sosa is now Elvira's husband.
The next day, Tony comes to the El Gordo club. El Gordo is surprised by his arrival and spits a piece of bread out of his mouth. Tony tells him to choke then he won't die because of him. El Gordo tells him he will not kill him and asks his bodyguards if he has been searched. They say yes. El Gordo tells Tony to sit down. The waiter brings Tony a fried pig. As it turns out, the waiter was the guy of the Diaz brothers and put a gun into the pig for Tony. El Gordo, bored with Tony's talk, intends to kill him. Tony grabs the pistol hidden in the pigs and starts shooting El Gordo, killing him and his bodyguards. Tony brings El Gordo head for the Diaz brothers in a sack, and the Diaz brothers agree to make a deal with Tony.
Sosa learns about the murder of El Gordo, and the Diaz Brothers want to betray Tony to Sosa in order to make peace. Tony went to General Vitaly Smechenko to do business with him. Smechenko's bodyguards aim at Tony, but showing no fear, he orders them to shoot. Smechenko laughs about it and says he liked him. Meanwhile, Agent Wabash and Tooms eavesdrop on them. Tony exits and is dragged into a van for two agents. Agents threaten him and throw him out of the car, telling him to clean up his files.
During a meeting with the Diaz Brothers, they order him to collect the package from the hotel. While there, Tony accidentally meets his ex-wife Elvira. Elvira realizes she still loves him and warns him about the trap set by Sosa and the Diaz Brothers. Tony escapes and finds out who set the trap.
He goes to the golf course where the Diaz Brothers are here He kills their bodyguard and then shoots their legs with an Uzi. Then he runs over them with a combine, killing them. Their bodies, or what was left of them, were investigated by Agent Wabash and Tooms.
After that, Tony returned to his estate. Unexpectedly, Agent Wabash and Tooom come and take him to the car to get rid of him. They go to the forest, where they handcuff him and make him walk through the mud, then chained him to a log.
Tony, using his cunning, asks Tooms to take a bag of cocaine out of his pocket knowing that he is addicted to the drug. Tooms immediately goes to get a bag of cocaine from his pocket and Tony slaps his knee on the nose and strangles him with handcuffs. Tony then breaks free and attacks Wabash who was waiting for his partner. Using handcuffs, he chaps them to a tree and leaves them to die with a few alligators.
Tony returns to his mansion to only find the dead bodies of his men, furious believing that Vitaly had betrayed him, grabs rifles and tries to find him. Upon entering one of the rooms, he is hit on the head with the tip of a shotgun and falls on Vitaly's body, realizing that he was not the one who murdered his people. Tony turns to see Sosa. Tony asks him if he has come to finish what he started and accepts his fate, but Sosa knocks him out and replies that he will kill him but will suffer first.
Finale[]
Tony is taken by Sosa to Bolivia, where he orders his minion to torture him. When Sosa leaves, the torturer wants to castrate Tony, but Gina and Montana's man kill him. Elvira tells Tony to flee Bolivia and stay away from Miami if he wants to live, then hugs him goodbye. Tony escapes with the gangster who arrives at the ship and says that Tony can get on board, but he opens a bag of cocaine and takes almost all, saying that he will not run away like a coward and will hunt Sosa down.
Tony tries to kill Sosa during his festival, but his bodyguard notifies him that Tony has escaped and that his life may be in danger. They run to the limo, but Tony is waiting for them there and kills the guards and Sosa. He then escapes with a limo to his mansion with the intention of taking over his business and home. As she sits in the chair lights a cigar and Elvira enters, Tony starts telling her that no one will get in their way anymore.
However, his peace is disturbed by a police helicopter with Tooms alive inside without legs and arm, ordering him to surrender. Elvira pulls out a revolver and says the police are right and Tony should give up telling him he is ruining everything. Tony pulls out his gun and tells her he doesn't want to kill her but will have to, Tooms aims his sniper at Tony. Tony tells Elvira that if she shoots him, the feds will shoot her, and if she manages to get away from it, the whole village will try to take revenge on her for the murder of their boss. Montana furiously says no one can touch him. After that, someone shoots and it is unknown whether the feds killed Montana or whether Elvira or Montana shot Elvira.
