Toots and the Germettes are the main antagonists of the Curious George episodes, "The Inside Story" and "Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye".
They are a group of cold-causing germs that make people sick. Eventually, they were killed off once they got washed down the drain in the sink. After that, they never returned. They are George's archenemies.
Toots is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.

They are a group of multi-colored germs who either wear hats or have hair. Toots holds a guitar that he uses to sing and spread germs.
Biography[]
In "The Inside Story", George eats spaghetti at Chef Pisghetti's. But since he has a cold, he can't taste the sauce. After putting salt in the sauce, he tastes it, and realizes that it's just right. However, Chef Pisghetti and Netti realize that the sauce tastes awful. And when George tries to tell them about the salt, he starts sneezing. Feeling George's head, Netti realizes that George has a cold. And then, Chef Pisghetti realizes that George can't taste his sauce because of his cold. Afterward, Netti takes George home, and Gnocchi decides to keep him company. While George is in bed, he has a dream about a band of germs named Toots and the Germettes (who are seemingly inside his body). Once George and Gnocchi defeat Toots and the Germettes, George wakes up from the dream felt better. However, Ted starts to feel sick (probably because he caught George's cold, which is similar to how George caught Ted's cold in "Monkey Fever"). Little did Ted and George know that Toots and the Germettes were in Ted's body, making him sick.
They return in "Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye". They are inside Ted's body, as he had gotten sick, due to the germs playing guitars and singing (which is something that they were doing in "The Inside Story"). Then, George and Gnocchi go inside Ted's body in order to get rid of the germs. They start chasing after them, but it only results in the germs deciding to spread themselves to other people. However, the germs were eventually killed when Professor Wiseman washed her hands, in which they pleaded her not to, and end up getting washed down the sink. Because of this, it's unlikely that they'll return. And when George wakes up from his dream, he decides to wash his hands and feet before checking in on The Man with the Yellow Hat. Even though Toots and the Germettes are gone, it's unknown if The Man was feeling better or not. However, it's possible that he got better by getting a lot of rest and eating the chicken soup that Professor Wiseman made.
