Topan is a minor antagonist in the 2014 Indonesian martial arts film, The Raid 2: Berandal, the second and final installment in The Raid film series.
He was a filmmaker and gangster who illegally made pornography and sold it throughout Jakarta; including gay porn, bondage and; judging by printed DVD covers, dog porn and horse porn. He had been able to go about his filmmaking without intervention by the authorities due to a secret business deal with Bangun, whom he'd been paying to prevent the cops from discovering and shutting down his operations. However, when he began to deal drugs as a side-hustle, he fell into conflict with the latter when the protection racket sum had increased. Bangun sent his son Uco to demand Topan to pay up what he owed him, or to kill him if he failed to do so. When Uco threatened Topan he retaliated by ordering his goons to attack the crimelord's son. When Uco's men fought back and killed all the guards, Topan attempted to flee, only to be caught and killed by Rama.
He was portrayed by Epy Kusnandar.
Biography[]
Rama went with Uco and Eka looking for Topan because he wasn't respecting the terms with Bangun alliance, and at the beginning he was able to understand the new terms but when Uco provoced him by asking for more money, Topan and his guys started to shoot against Uco and his men. Topan gets a submachine gun and kills several of Uco's men before starting to run, as Rama chases Topan and fights him in a room, brutally beating him, but before he could finish him off with a baseball bat, he ultimately hesitates and refuses to kill him. Topan, now crawling away all bloodied, ultimately succumbs to his wounds and dies shortly after. topan was killed by Rama by bat and ball stick, as he was thrown to the lake.
