Torarugin is a minor antagonist of Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman, serving as the primary antagonist of the Episode 3. He was a tiger-themed Galactic Warrior at the service of the Galactic Imperial Army Zone and under the command of the Galactic Empress Meadow and Gactic Swordsan Billion.
He was voiced by Yoshio Kawai.
Biography[]
A former partner of Galactic Swordsman Billion, Torarugin was summoned by his masters and was tasked by the Imperial Zone leaders with their plan to defeat the Fiveman. He was tasked to use Fiveman's weakness of their need to watch over and protect the students of Newtown Elementary School in order for the villains to gain their own advantage. By using his possession ability, Torarugin took over the body of Takeshi, a trouble-making boy, who was a part of Gaku's classes before the school's destruction by Zone. The monster then forced the boy to become his body and attack Gaku against his will even as the innocent kid struggled.
When Gaku tried to free the boy from Billion's control, Torarugin decided to take over FiveRed's body in order to use it accordingly. However while in that body, Billion attacked Gaku, and thus attacking and hurting his ally. Torarugin was unhappy and showed his offense with Billion's move and plan, but the alien swordsman answered and explained that he and Zone were willing to do anything to accomplish their evil goals, thus destroying their partnership. Torarugin became angered and tried to attack Billion on his bike before being expelled from Gaku. After this the Red Fiveman used this opportunity and defeated the beast with his Brother Attack. Later, Gaku's comrades arrived and helped their friend to defeat the monster. After Billion used Gorlin #02 to create a giant replica of Torarugin, the beast attacked the Fiveman team and the heroes quickly formed their mechas to defeat the villain. After the brief battle, Torarugin was permanently destroyed by the FiveRobo.
