Mikie Okamine's Father is a major antagonist in the manga Date AST Like. He is the president of the Okamine Heavy Industries, who first appears at the beginning as a very polite, friendly and mostly a gentle man, but is in fact one of the most villainous and most cruel characters of the entire franchise.
Personality
He is a serious yet cold and ruthless person. He possessed great intelligence and high IQ level. He is shown to be violent when provoked, shooting mercilessly at Mirie Okamine, Cecil O'Brien and Ashley Sinclair.
History
No one knows anything about Mikie's father past, but at some point in his career, he created the Okamine Heavy Industries and quickly in secretly became a famous entrepreneur in Japan.
Plot
The edition continues after the fourth volume to be translated!
Edgar makes his first appearance in the manga volume 2, during a restaurant where Mikie Okamine, Origami Tobiichi and Ryouko were disguising information to try to find the SSS members who were transferred from England to Japan, when it appeared he discovered the guise of Mikie and started abusing her psychologically about the whereabouts of Artemisia, however, Ryouko interrupted abuse and humiliation, after Mike's Father withdrew from the place he ordered their to go to onstage at the restaurant, where he said he would make a surprise.
After the moment had arrived, he made the members of the SSS and AST enter the stage without them knowing the identity of each other, Mikie's Father ordered their to fight until the death, after the battle had started he tried to kill Origami personally.

- After the full release Date Like AST, Edgar became known as the third most ruthless villain of the entire franchise when he shot a child who was on stage battling Special Sorcery Service and Anti Spirit Team per child was disturbing.
- He almost never smile.
- He was the first villain in the entire franchise to show the abuse of children.
- Despite being a "human", Mikie's Father ranks as one of the most evil Date A Live villains due to his personality, xenophobic hate, immense political power and above-the-law status.
- Edgar is the second human villain to pursue a woman, the first is James A. Paddington.
