Tornado Roidmude

The Tornado Roidmude, originally designated as Roidmude 008, is a member of the Roidmude uprising and a supporting antagonist in Kamen Rider Drive.

He was voiced/portrayed by Joe Hyuga.

History[]

Roidmude 008 was one of the first nine Roidmudes and among those who attacked Tokyo during the Global Freeze.

At some point 008 evolved into the Tornado Roidmude and killed the fashion designer George Shirogane to copy his form and take his place. Taking a necklace George had intended to give to his dream woman, Tornado believed that achieving George's desire would enable him to obtain a Super Evolution.

008 later returned to Japan over a year after the Global Freeze. Also returning from overseas was Roidmude 006. Despite both having achieved Advanced forms neither wanted to reveal them just yet. After being greeted by Heart Roidmude, they were given a rundown by him on the Roidmudes' current objectives, mainly to defeat the Kamen Riders and have enough Super Evolved Roidmudes to achieve the Promised Number.

To achieve his own Super Evolution, Tornado began kidnapping women who were in couples. The Special Investigation Unit took notice of Tornado's spree and lured him out by having Genpachiro Otta and Rinna Sawagami pose as a couple. 008 attempted to kidnap Rinna, but stopped and stated she was a mistake to his collection. Shinnosuke soon arrived and 008 expressed gratitude to finally meet Drive 008 then transformed into his evolved form to fight Drive. However, Tornado proved much more powerful due to nearing his Super Evolution and escaped.

However, the Special Investigation Unit was later given the location of the hideout from Tenjuro Banno. When Shinnosuke, Go and Kiriko arrived at his hideout and found his captives, Tornado told the three they could free them since none of them could cause his Super Evolution. However, Tornado soon realized Kiriko would be his perfect woman and kidnapped her. Drive and Mach attempted to save her but were stopped by Banno, who took control of the Ride Booster Red and used it to attack them.

The Special Investigation Team eventually tracked Tornado to a nearby church where he had taken Kiriko to. After arriving at the church, Mach with Chase rescued Kiriko while Shinnosuke transformed into Drive to take on Tornado, but soon found himself overwhelmed by Tornado's wind abilities. However, with assistance from Chase in the Booster Tridoron. Drive and Mach were able to push back against Tornado, creating their own tornado to counter his before finishing him off with their Rider Kicks against Tornado.
