Biography[]
Toruviel, as a member of the free elves of Dol Blathanna, was part of a team that contacted Silvan Torque, who is their spy in the elves' lower Posada, to help them obtain food and teach the elves how to farm by robbing human farmers. When Torque was constantly robbing and terrorizing the villagers of Lower Posada, they decided to hire the witcher Geralt of Rivia to solve the problem with Silvan, and was accompanied by a bard named Dandelion.
When Geralt and Dandelion managed to catch and expose Silvan Torque, both men were overpowered by the free elves to help their agent, and after overpowering the witcher and the bard, they take them to their hideout to take them to prison. Toruviel herself was among the elves involved in the capture.
When Geralt and Dandelion wake up in the free elves' hideout, Toruviel mocks them, harasses them, tortures them and even beats them. She suddenly fell in love with Dandelion, where he abused him for life just because he was a bard, and she also destroyed his lutes. This made the witcher Geralt angry and provoked Toruviel to come to him and even though Geralt was tied up, he managed to hit the elf hard on the nose so that her nose bled. Toruviel herself became hysterical and cried when the others went to help her bandage her nose.
After the Maid of the Field, known in elven language as Dana Méadbh, appeared and the execution was canceled and Geralt and Dandelion were released, Toruviel, still bandaged, gave her own lute to Dandelion, which she still uses.
