Tos'un Armgo is a major character in The Legend of Drizzt and the deuteragonist of the spin-off comic Cutter. He was a somewhat benevolent warrior of Drow House Barrison Del'Armgo before becoming a renegade after fleeing during the drow attack on Mithral Hall. After joining a group of other renegade drow, he helped start a war between the forces of Obould I Many-Arrows and all the nations in the Silver Marshes region. He eventually decided that he preferred peace and began living with the elves in the Moonwood. However, he would later return to his roots and help House Baenre start another war in the Silver Marshes. He was the wielder of Khazid'hea, the father of Doum'wielle Armgo and Teirflin Armgo, and the temporary husband of Sinnafain Armgo.

Like all drow, Tos'un had ebony skin. He had long white hair, although he began to bald as he got older.

Growing up in a harsh environment, Tos'un was an opportunist whose chief concern was always staying alive in the best way he could. Although he was uncomfortable with violence, he was not against it and could be ruthless if he wanted to be. Being a self-serving opportunist, Tos'un generally preferred to simply side with whoever he thought would keep him alive, regardless of that faction's larger plans. Upon obtaining Kazid'hea, the bloodthirsty sword made him more reckless and prompted him to make decisions and enemies he wouldn't normally make.
Tos'un was a skilled liar and was fairly manipulative, usually able to twist a situation in such a way that he could stay alive. Although he felt very little remorse for most of his more vicious actions, he was willing to play along, and falsely act however would keep him alive for long periods of time. He was somewhat xenophobic, but he eventually moved past this.
During his life on the Surface, Tos'un was introduced to the concept of love when he met Sinnafain, an elven woman he genuinely cared for, and had two children with her. However, despite loving his family, Tos'un could never get used to the concept of putting the needs of others above his own. Eventually, his darker nature got the better of him, and he went back to his treacherous ways. Although he felt remorse for putting his daughter through horrors for his own ends, it did not prevent him from using her. He ultimately abandoned everyone who he cared about in favor of himself.
