The Tough Guy Trio are the main antagonists of Peter Griffin's story in the episode "Herpe the Love Sore" of the Family Guy cartoon TV series.
Biography[]
The Tough Guy Trio is first introduced when Peter, Joe and Glenn Quagmire enter the Drunken Clam and are shocked to see that their booth has been taken by them. They ask the tough guys to give them back but the refuse to do and insult them and threaten them. Peter decides to force them by using Quagmire's whip, taser, and shirt, with only the latter making them leave. As time goes by, word gets out about what happened and people disrespect them. Peter and friends are reduced to sitting at the bar while the tough guys still sit at the bar. When the guys lose hope, Lois Griffin gives Peter the confidence to stand up for himself and he tells the guys as well. Later the guys come back ready to reclaim their booth, but the guys won't budge until Quagmire punches one of them causing a bar fight. During the bar fight, the leader tells them to give up numerous times, but Peter refuses to back down.
After a while, the leader decides they're not worth it and are shipping off to Afghanistan the next day. This causes them to realize they're soldiers and the others clap for them, with Seamus saying he'd salute them if he had arms and Mayor West declaring the day after them and not the others.
As everyone leaves with the soldiers declaring them heroes, Peter angrily and unsurprisingly decides he's reluctantly rooting for Afghanistan.
Appearance[]
The Tough Guy Trio each is brawny. The leader has brown hair a black sleeveless shirt and greenish-blue pants with a white stripe on each side as well as striped shoes. One has a buzz cut and wears a white tank top and blueish-black jeans and a tattoo on his right arm and black shoes and has hairy arms and chest hair. The last one has blonde hair and a white undershirt with a blueish-grey shirt and blue jeans and a gold necklace and brown shoes.
Personality[]
The Tough Guy Trio were heartless bullies who don't care if a booth is taken or not. They take joy in tormenting Peter and his friends. They even make fun of them, and after getting punched, they become violent and merciless. They are also calm and smug in the end.
